I manage to set my ryzen r7 1700 multiplier to 38 with vcore voltage at 1.3v. But the voltage drop while high load and be unstable after full load. Is this normal? The cpu wasn't too hot as well while full load. I am using an corsair h100i v2 cooler. The frequency of the cpu does not reach 3800 as well.

thanks. with 8 drives should i get a raid card for it or just use the sata ports on the motherboard ?

gonna need to save some money to get 8 drives. if I run raid 5 with 8 drives and hdd speed should be faster, right?

i gave up on it. it seems it will require a lot of hdd to get 1gb transfer speed...

After watching this video , I wonder will this work if I connect my nas machine directly to my pc? My nas which has two 4tb hdd in raid one. Will I be able to get 10g speed (1g file transfer speed)?

Hi. I am planning to build a nas with raid 5 or raid 10? I will be putting an 10gb nic in my nas. My plan was putting six drives in raid5 but i know that the speed won't be capable 1gb/s. Any suggestion what config should I go with? My budget will be only able to afford 9 drives max. Thanks

Hi. I am going to build a nas with old parts and a 10gb nic. Here are the spec CPU: AMD A10-7850K MB:Asus A88X-PLUS/USB 3.1 RAM: 16gb DISK: 6x WD red 2TB(raid 10) boot drive: SanDisk SSD 128GB I have 10gb nic in both nas and pc. Will I be able to have 1gb transfer speed? Thanks

Yeah I think i will go for the ryzen. If i get 16gb of ram rather than 32 ram and with a msi r7 370 4g will it still be able to game at 1080p and edit 4k video?
