  1. I did reach out to them to see how much a repair/replacement would cost. If it's the same as I originally paid for it then I'll probably just hit up the newer 29UM68-P model or something, anything less and I'll just get the replacement. Waiting on the response really now.
  2. I'd probably go with this just because I haven't had any background CPU usage from the little I've played Fortnite lol
  3. Basically, I dropped my LG 29UM58-P while moving, and the screen kind of died, and looks like this now. I want to know if this is still repairable if I take this to the LG repair center (money is not really an object for this, I'm willing to repair as long as it's less than just replacing it all together here), or if it's too far gone and can't be fixed. I would just take it there if it wasn't a 2 hour drive from me and I don't really want to waste my time if it's not going to be repairable once I get there. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  4. I can get a hacksaw if the PVC Cutter doesn't work, plenty of places near me to get them. Just that the PVC cutter doesn't leave burred edges. Thanks. Thanks for your help. I considered that but after seeing Jay use the PVC Cutter I decided that the PVC cutter might be a little more convenient and fast. Good to know it will work. Thanks.
  5. Hey guys, I'm a few months at most off of going ahead and starting my watercooled build, and I have hit a snag. Basically, I want to know if you can cut Bitspower PETG with a PVC cutter. More specifically, the type of PVC/Soft Tube Cutter Jay (from JayzTwoCents) uses in Paul's (from Paul's Hardware) Hotbox 2.0 Build Log (he states that it's husky, and this is the only thing that matches). I'm planning to get both the Husky one and the Klein Tools one, however I just wanted to check if it would also work with my Bitspower 12mm PETG. I realize it works with the PETG in the video, but that is EK PETG and I know that in some cases PETG is more prone to crushing for some brands. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated, since I will probably switch to Primochill PETG (Which I know works since Jay uses it in Skunkworks). Thanks in advance. 6. I have sand paper if necessary, but I'll see if I can get a bending rubber on Amazon that is completely solid. I've seen videos where Jay has helped Paul on Paul's Hardware bend PETG using fuel line, but I personally don't really want to stick with the kit from EK as it is a little pricey and I really just care about the bending rubber. I saw this and plan on just sanding it down a little bit to make it fit. EDIT: I just noticed it's only 5 bucks cheaper than the bending kit so I will just go ahead with that. Thanks for the input!
  7. So I went through the items I had in my list and I've made a nice discovery. I will be able to fit 2x360mm rads into my budget if I remove the EK DIY Kit. I'm skeptical to do this because it's the only bending rubber I found on either EK or Amazon (Not using other places because shipping is too much) and apparently fuel line does the trick. The fuel line I'm looking at has a 6mm thick wall so it you think that this will be good enough to bend the PETG let me know and I'll just jump onto the dual rad system now rather than later.
  8. I definitely have the space for the 120, in fact, I'm using the Define S so I could fit 2 360s if I really wanted. However, I'm on a tight budget and I'm going to be using 2200rpm fans anyways so cooling wont really be affected then and in a few months I'll pickup another one for my birthday. I'm also leaning towards the XSPC EX360 rather than the Define S SE360 (I need a slim rad since that second 360 will be coming eventually) but I'm open to suggestions around the $60 price range. I may even go for the Black Ice Nemesis 360GTS which is closer to $70, but again, I'm open to suggestions.
  9. Well I've settled on EK since I'm just going better safe than sorry, but how much PETG do you guys think I should get? I'm getting a little paranoid and for some reason have chosen 10meters so far, but I don't know if I'll need that much. I do plan on making a few bends per tube but 10m might be overkill. Also, will the EK SE 360 be able to keep a 4690k@4.5GHz (Getting a 7700k when it's out) and a GTX 1080 STRIX OC@ around 2GHz? Since the EK Loop Configurator says that an SE 240 is about 283w TDP maximum recommended and an SE 120 is 141w TDP Max Recommended, so I guess an SE 360 would be around 425-430w, which should be enough as far as I can see. Also looking at the XSPC EX360 which seems to offer much better performance. Then again, this is my first time watercooling so I don't really know. Suggestions?
  10. Well the Bitspower stuff is a little too expensive for my taste so I'm just gonna stick with the EK Stuff. At least I won't need two orders on different sites then. Thanks!
  11. So what do you recommend? Because the piping was pretty cheap and I just went ahead with it.
  12. So it wont fit. However, I found some fittings on Amazon for Thermaltake PETG. They have a G1/4 thread so they will be compatible with my EK Gear as far as I know, but if you know could you confirm this?
  13. Hey guys, I was about to order some parts for my hardlined watercooled PC, and I have decided to use EK 16mm Rigid compression fittings since I'm ordering most of my parts from EK. However, I was also going to get some of this Thermaltake PETG 16mm OD Tubing from Amazon (Amazon Link), but I'm not sure if they are compatible. This is my first watercooled PC (Yes I know that I should be doing soft tubing, don't bother telling me that, I have some in case the hard tubing goes haywire) and I am not sure if it will work together since I've read manufacturers' actual sizes can differ. If they are compatible please let me know. Thanks!
  14. Hi guys, I recently bought a new TV (Samsung JS 9800) and I have and HTPC I'm building for it. I have a Blu-Ray Drive that supports 4k Blu-Ray (just waiting for software) but I found out that you need HDCP 2.2 for 4k Blu-Ray playback. I was wondering, does the R9 390 support HDCP 2.2 (I know the R9 390 is HDCP compatible, I don't know the version), or does that depend on the TV? Thanks, Arush
