  1. To answer your question I'd like to just have to get me through on the go and then keep gaming strictly for at home. Was thinking an XPS 15 9560 + the Aorus 1070 EGPU. Thoughts?
  2. Hey Man, In an Ideal situation this is what I'd like to do however I take a significant budget hit if I don't sell the GPU also. Thanks for the advice!
  3. Hey Guys, To answer the questions above I want something that I can come home and plug into at the end of the day. High power gaming on the go isn't the aim for me its still having some juice when I get home but something light weight on the go like an XPS or a razer stealth. My budget is around 1100 for the laptop and I'm willing to spend as far as around 500-600 maybe on the EGPU later on down the line. Thanks for all the responses guys.
  4. Hey Guys, Second post on the forums but needed some advice. Basically I'm looking to sell my custom built PC running an i5 6600k 16GB DDR4 & an ASUS Strix 1080TI (I know it seems like a bottleneck with the processor but has been working like a dream) I don't get enough time to use my PC to its full potential anymore and end up using my work laptop as a media device but would like a laptop that can do both so I'm exploring the option of having a powerful laptop that can be hooked up to an EGPU when I get home to still hand some beefy gaming. I Really like the Aourus 1070 Boxes and they are decently priced, However my issue is that finding the right combo is proving difficult. I do not have too much money to work with so I would like to buy the laptop soon and the EGPU later on down the line. Would also be happy to buy maybe even a second hand laptop. So any advice on some laptop/epgu combos would be amazing. Thanks in advance!
  5. Thanks for the quick response has been very helpful
  6. Hey Guys new to the forums here but wanted some info before I made a purchase. I currently have a custom pc I’ve built up other some time and it works a treat but I haven’t had time to use it to its full potential anymore and wanted to buy something a little more portable but will still be able to play games from time to time. was looking at loads of gaming laptops but they are just way above my budget atm and even though i’m mainly a windows guy i’ve been mainly using a Macbook pro at work. What I wanted to know is how well MacBook Pro running windows will work with an EGPU or if it will work at all and if not dualbootes then running something like parallels to run windows instead. I know a lot of people would just say stick to a windows laptop sucu as the Razer Blade or the MSI GS63 or something of the sort but would still like the options to use MacOS for day to day tasks and windows for gaming. Thanks in advance!
