  1. Why would you use VPNs over the game servers and game machines? And what kind of setup would you think is fast enough for something like this?
  2. Hello, Recently my dad and I are talking about building pcs for sim racing. Now, since i just like the trouble?, I wondered if I could try something like the: " 2 gaming rigs, 1 tower" idea. Since I would probably need something like Unraid (maybe someone has other virtualization tools?) I thought using that rig as my server swell. (I have some csgo/mc servers running). Now, because Ryzen cpus are so much quicker and getting affordable. Is it finally a serious option to build 1 pc, that you can use for 2 racing sims? (I do understand that you would need 2 gpus, but with two different systems you would too). I would like you guys idea's and think if a 3700x combined with 2 gpus would be powerful enough for this? Some details: sim rigs would both only use 1 screen 1080p 144hz server would only run minecraft and csgo server, looking to use plex here as well but not sure (would be nice if this could be done on this too) Thanks in advance!
  3. Yes that is what i'm doing now, but the point is i need atleast to be able to run that game on dual screen (or triple ofc)
  4. Yeah thats why i said it isnt Nice, but the option would be great
  5. Thanks, that is really helpfull. Ill do Some research behind f1 to see if it works the same
  6. Hello everyone, On the first note, sorry if this isnt in the correct spot. Move it if that is the case. Oke now real talk, i got some questions about dual monitor racing (I know this isn't a nice feeling, but my dad wants the option, so i need to check it out), i currently have a setup that i would like to know if it could run F1 racing on 2 screens (maybe 3). I know about the displayport thing, but i will look if it can be done the same way like Rocket league does it, just changing the game files. This is the setup im talking about: CPU:i5-4690k ram 8gb 1800 mhz motherboard Asrock z97 killer GPU: amd r9 390 The dual gaming will be done on 2 screens of 1920 by 1080p 24 inch . If any one can help me, pls let me know!
  7. In the first post, i said i wasnt looking to spend more then 700 euro
  8. that doesnt sound so great. (i mean that the video looks small)

  11. sorry i didnt post that. Ill eddit it, gimme 2 mins tops
  12. Hello every one, I got a question on what monitor(s) to buy. The reason why i cant choose is that there are advantages and disadvantages on all the options (while not going over budget). What is going to be on the monitors is: i game alot, watch movies, watch youtube, program a lot and am using some servers that monitor allot. I came up myself with some options. but feel free to leave your own thoughts on monitors, or what one you prefer of my choices. Keep in mind, im not thinking to spend more then around 700 euro. the options: 2 144hz with 1 response time monitors. On a dual monitor arm to keep them close and look nicer. 1 ultra wide curved 1080p with 144hz and 4 ms response time. 1 ultra wide curved 1440p with 60hz and 4/5ms response time. what would be your choice, and why? Or do you have some other recommendations? edit: I currently have a: i5 4690k asrock z97 killer 8 gb of ddr ram (1800mhz) msi R9 390 (thinking on upgrading to 1070) not that storage matters but: a 256 ssd and a 2tb hdd
  13. Could you send a picture of how it looks or anything?
