  1. I am going to purchase a new headset, the most I'm willing to spend is 100$ or so, suggestions? I was thinking: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Headset-Microphone/dp/B002Q8IHDQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440636872&sr=8-1&keywords=SteelSeries+Siberia+V2 Edit: For Gaming
  2. I have a Gigabyte R9 270, Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3, Evga 500W 80+ White, Kingston HyperX Fury White Series 1866MHz and a pentium G3258 I installed Windows 8.1 x64 along with programs and so on. I entered the bios and disabled the inegrated GPU along with changing the RAM voltage, timings and speed (1860-70MHz, 9-9-9-27-1T, 1.66V). Upon booting Windows crashed so I assumed it was a problem with the memory changes. I am now unable to enter the bios. The computer is in a boot loop and I see my cursor along with an underscore ( _ ) and this repeats. I've taken out the cmos battery for 10 hours and put it back in with the same results. I've tried booting without the R9 270 and completely taken the PC apart and put it back together along with using different RAM.

  5. Nope, F2 previously allowed me to enter the bios settings and I also tried to use the delete key. After taking out the batter I could see the Gigabyte logo for a fraction of a second and not upon restarting.
  6. I tried both, it was out for close to 5 minutes.

The computer boots without my keyboard or mouse lights turning on, it then boots again with them on and I see my cursor along with an underscore ( _ ) and this repeats. I've taken out the cmos battery and put it back in with the same results.
  8. I have the memory, it's 8GB (2x4GB) of Kingston HyperX blu. I want to know which overclock one would chose from the results I obtained. I would lean towards 1886MHz @ 9-10-9-28-1T as the read speed is higher.
  9. 1886MHz @ 9-10-9-28-1T Read: 25,715 MB/s Write: 15,779 MB/s Copy: 19,392 MB/s Latency 62.7 NS 2133MHz @ 10-12-11-28-1T Read: 24,380 MB/s Write: 16,686 MB/s Copy: 21,967 MB/s Latency 63.7 NS Above are benchmark results I got using AIDA64. I want sheer gaming performace though I know it will have little to no effect but hey!
  10. I have a Gigabyte R9 280X which has DVI-I, mini DisplayPort and HDMI. I was going to purchase the Asus VG248QE which has HDMI, DVI-D and DisplayPort. The monitor comes with a Dual-link DVI cable. Could I run 144hz with using that cable?
  11. €500, parts in Ireland are more expensive than the US.
