  1. I cleared the CMOS, nothing changed. The computer boots up, no beeps and then restarts itself after 10secs. Or it will beep once but still restart itself.
  2. I haven't, what will that do? I thought it just reset my BIOS settings.
  3. I started up my computer yesterday and got no beeps, black screen and a clicking sound coming from the mobo speaker. I removed all the RAM and got constant beeps to make sure the mobo was ok. So I put in one RAM stick and it worked fine, but then I restarted it again and got zero beeps again. This time I put both sticks and it ran fine again. This morning I booted up to no beeps, removed one stick and ran ok. I'm thoroughly confused. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to why it beeps or not. I'm not a hardware wiz so I don't really know what else to do, any ideas? Edit: It seems to never work unless I take the RAM in and out then it works fine...
  4. So I have an old amp linked to my TV using a DAC. The only device linked to my TV is a Chromecast, no cable, satellite or set-top box. The Stereo will not pick up the sound, how do I fix this?
  5. It's not the amp, it's part of a unit including a radio and turntable. They play through the speakers, so it must be the TV.
  6. It's using a Chromecast, it's not connected any other way. The coaxial is going straight into the TV.
  7. Tried swapping from tuner to AUX and I am using B channel, no change. I don't understand what you mean when you say bypass the TV, the TV is my source of sound.
  8. http://imgur.com/a/BpdOd From the TV it goes; optical > DAC > r&w wire > amp > r&w wire > speakers
  9. The optical isn't going into the amp. The optical goes from the TV, into a DAC and r&w wires go into the amp.
  10. That's correct, the only setting I can change is the output which I have set to external speakers.
  11. I have an LG 50lf561v TV and a Toshiba Stereo Amplifier Model SB-M2. I've tried all I know to connect the two but I can't get TV audio to output. I'm using a DAC to convert a coaxial to R&W from the TV to the amp. I don't know if it's the TV, the amp or me that's not working, please help.
  12. Out of those two which would you recommend? Also whats 300MCI?
  13. About to buy a new 50" TV for my room so I can watch youtube and twitch from the comfort of my sofa. The TV states it has a 50hz motion rate which I assume is the refresh rate. Will this be able to run 60fps video? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4178196.htm
  14. I'm looking for a new monitor. I'm wanting a thin bezel, 24 inch display that will work well with gaming and watching movies. I've looked at a few but other than low ms I don't really know what to look for.
  15. That's what I'm planning.
