As you see i'm on low budget,so i have to decide what's better.. What would be better - get i5 4570(non OC) now and play with hd4600 for about 2 months(it can play newest games at 720p) and then get new nvidia maxwell when it comes out( i would have time to save money) or get athlon x4 740 + hd 7770 now. I'm going toward i5 as it's gonna last me for a few good years,if i get athlon + hd7770 i think i wouldn't be able to play newest games properly. I like to play online and it just seems i5 would be better in the long run.Unfortunately fx8350 doesn't have iGPU. Thanks for advices

I won't oc my cpu,thats for sure. If i manage to find athlon x4 740 vs pentium g3220 what to choose? they are probably the same,athlon has a bit better multithreading and pentium single core power. I like to play online games though

I suppose i can't use low budget and gaming in the same sentence but that's what i need. I already own a pc with 1gb hd 7790( i bought 2nd hand pc from a friend, i only need to buy mobo and cpu). I'm really really on low budget,as much as i would like to get fx6300, it's over my budget and i have to draw a line somewhere,so please understand. -i would like to last me for next 1.5-2 year and by that time i would like to play next gen games if that's possible -i choosing between athlon x3 455( i live in asia,i can't find athlon x4 740 anywhere!! :angry: ) and intel pentium g3220.I have no idea when will amd release athlon based on kaveri( a10 7850k without igpu) so i can't wait for that. I would like to get intel g3220 because it's really cheap here and fairly decent.Is that cpu any good?for some single player next gen games and planetside 2,bf3,dayz?

Do i have to worry about my Vram at 1080p 1-2 year down the road? What i have been reading somewhere is that probably 2 years down the road my card won't be powerful enough to run games at max so i would have to drop down on settings and thus my vram would be sufficent,right?

So finally i've decided to get a new pc next week.I'm on budget,so i can't afford more than that.Prices are here a bit more expensive. Would fx6300 + r9 270x be any good for gaming (dayz,bf4,the division,next gen games..) on 1080p for next 2-3 years?I don't mind medium settings,no AA as long it's 1080p. Fx8320 here is about 50$ more expensive here,is it worth it? Gtx 760 is probably out of the question cuz the price here it's about 80$ more than r9 270x. (note that i'll be keeping pc for 2-3years max) EDIT: I will not OC cpu

Unfortunately hd7950 is out of stock here where i live,and gtx760 is almost 30% more expensive. Also, i don't mind playing at 1080p medium settings/no AA so it could last me for 2years which is great.

I would pair it with fx6300(no OC) +8gb ram. In your opinion is card capable of playing newest games at 1080p for about 2years?

Should 1GB hd7770 be enough for 720p gaming,for probably next 1-2 year? 720p res,medium/high settings,no AA.

a10 6800k is like 80$ more expensive than athlon x4 740 so no way,no to mention i don't like crossfire and pairing 8670D+7750 isn't a good idea.

So yesterday i was given advice by going for athlon x4+discrete card would be much better than getting a10 5800k apu. As i'm on low budget,what would be better between those 2 choices.I will be playing on 720p(1366x768 res).Also 1-2 year more i will be selling this and getting other more powerfull,so i don't have path for upgrading to other cpu on am3+.

In 1-2 year i will probably sell this pc and build something powerful that can run 1080p with no sweat.So for now it will do the job on 720p:-)

I'm from Croatia,and yeah i have some other priorities with money right now but i just want something that would run bf4 at 720p 30+fps. I will also buy: fm2 mobo 8 gb ram ddr3 1600mhz 500hdd blue 7200rpm psu seasonic s12ii cheap case (so i can't get lower than that lol) I wanted to get a 10 5800k but i'm worried it couldn't run bf4 beyond 30fps and some other newest next gen games.Seems that getting a HD 7770 would be major performance booster and it's defo worth it. 30-35 fps more is a lot,i could even play bf4 at medium settings and get 60fps as average which is great.

As you can see i'm building a low budget pc. 1st choice is A10 5800k + onboard gpu(i think it's 6670d) and 2nd choice Athlon x4 740 + hd7770. So far i understand that athlon x4 and a10 have almost the same cpu but is hd7770 discrete card worth it over onboard one? 2nd choice is roughly 80-90$ more expensive(almost breaking my budget) so is it worth it that extra money,how much fps increase would i see on average?(tech noob here just starting to learn). Will be playing on 720p monitor.Can it run bf4 multiplayer? Thanks a lot
