I've been saving a lot for a new CPU (the i7 7700K being my priority, but may settle for an i5 7600K as they're probably the best I can realistically get for the socket without upgrading my motherboard again) but realized I hadn't got a cooler sorted yet. With not much money renaming in my budget, I was wondering if the Silverstone SST-TD03-Lite-V2 would be an adequate performer for an i7 7700K, overclocked and/or non-overclocked, as it's one of the cheapest coolers available in this country, and according the (very small amount of) reviews i'd seen, was pretty good, but would like to get a broader opinion before I make the purchase final. If it wouldn't perform quite well enough to keep the CPU cool, what would be some good alternatives in the same price range? Either water coolers or air coolers, but i would like to prioritize a water cooler, just because.

So recently I got my hands on a Pioneer AV Receiver VSX-923, and thought it would be pretty neat to get my PC hooked into it and have a 7.1 audio setup. BUT.... I have no idea if I can even do that. I would be very appreciative if anyone could help. I have a Pioneer AV Receiver VSX-923 (as stated earlier), an Asrock Xtreme 4 Z270, and an EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked. If you need any other information about my setup, i'm, happy to provide, I only listed the parts of my PC with any kind of port. (Also, on a side note, at the moment I have it hooked up via Optical SPDIF, but I hear this only supports 2 channel audio. Could someone confirm if this is true or not?)

What one's the better choice? I have two laptops, both are pretty old, but all the hardware is the same, aside from the CPU. Also, one laptop (the 1.66ghz one) is still running windows vista. Will it's performance improve at all? it randomly seizes up and the mouse can still move, but nothing else will happen. There isn't really anything on the laptop yet CPU usage is in the high 50's - low 70's

Nope, nothing. EDIT: Ok, never mind. After doing that, restarting my PC and unplugging my my TV, it works for some reason. Thanks!

Upgrade from 7, but I upgraded about, 5? 6? months ago

I have never had this problem until recently, maybe around Christmas I guess, But anyway, When I click the windows button on the bottom left of the screen, or the windows key on my keyboard, nothing happens. Clicking cortana works as per usual, so I can still search for apps and all that. I haven't messed around in the settings or anything that might cause this, all I have been doing is drawing, browsing the internet, playing games, the usual, so nothing I've done should have triggered this. Restarting or checking for updates has not fixed the problem, as this problem has persisted over the course of the week. EDIT: Forgot to mention: I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. EDIT 2: Ok, it's fixed now. I had to go into task manager, close and restart explorer.exe and then reboot my PC, and unplug my TV. Thanks for the help guys!

While that would be the cheaper option probably, I want the option to upgrade to a 6600K or a 6700K at some point, so I just want to prepare.

Ah, Thank you!

For christmas, I am wanting to upgrade to skylake, but, as I do not have alot of money, an i3 6100 is about as good as I can do. But, before I do so, I must ask, Will an i3 6100 bottleneck my GTX 660, or atleast, will it be better than my current Pentium G3260?

I am looking for a new keyboard for Christmas, as my current one is as generic as it gets, and is getting to the point where I have to sellotape it back together. So, my question is, do you guys and gals have any suggestions for what I should get, either one you've had experience with, or have heard good things/reviews about. I'm looking for one that is mechanical and has RGB, and the main body is black.
