  1. I removed all ram sticks, 1 stick, 2 sticks, 4 sticks. Everything. As soon as I turn on the PSU fans start spinning and nothing on the screen. i don't know if the board is even on (the way to check would be to bridge the power pins, but given that the fans are already spinning and the LEDs are blinking and everything, I guess it is). I read somewhere that server boards sometime have an auto-turn-on feature to restart the server in case of power loss when no one is there to restart it.
  2. How can I update the BIOS without a 7001 series processor? How can I access the Impi module? (A quick Google search says: Intel-MPI is based on MPICH2 and provides an MPICH2 runtime environment for precompiled binaries. My board is AMD)
  3. Hi guys,I come here looking for help. I live in Colombia, South America. I am an experienced hobby-kinda builder. I have been building my own rig for more than 10 years now and from 2 years ago I also began building the basic 2200G kinda APU's for the family's company average worker; as well as the higher machines for CAD applications. 2 months ago the company decided to upgrade the server, and given that here in my country we don't have EPYC servers yet and the value proposition is so good... I decided to be very smart and try and build it myseld from newegg. These are the components I picked up: -SuperMicro MBD-H11SSL-NC-B ATX Server Motherboard -AMD EPYC Rome 7282 -Basic SP3 cooler -128gb of some random ECC DDR4 Ram As of the moment, my MB won't post. I have no idea what to do. My MB is Rev 2, so it should support 7002 series processors. However, I don't know if my BIOS is updated and if it isn't I don't know how to update it without a 7001 series CPU. I insert the Ram, CPU, and AS SOON AS I TURN ON MY PSU, The fans start spinning like it's powering but no POST. I would appreciate any help from the more rexperienced members. Daniel
