See I have been generally thinking about going for Ryzen as their instruction set and such has gotten much better with time. I will have to give it a think over tbf as I would need to buy a new compatable Motherboard for the Ryzen CPU but ill defo think about it as it could be the better choice.

Hey guys so I have a compatible DDR4 motherboard and my friend says he will give me 16gb of DDR4 memeory so that just means I just need to buy a i5 9600k if I want to go over to DDR4. I have a gtx 980 which should pair well with a i5 9600k. Is this a worthwhile CPU to go for or should I go for an i7 or something. I am really at a loss here. I want a K variant of a CPU though as I want the ability to OC even if I decide not to.

Hey guys, this is my first ever post so sorry if I am posting in the wrong section although I was wondering if the GTX 980 is still good for 2019, I am able to buy it tomorrow for £130. The types of games I play are Fallout New Vegas with loads of texture mods and other mods, DOOM 2016, Skyrim Special Edition. I just got Far Cry 4 and want to play it, Serious Sam Fusion and some GTX 5 Story Mode. I only play in 1920x1080p. Again let me know if I have posted this in the wrong place or what. Thank you
