  1. So I am searching for nice but not too expensive noise cancelling or something like it earbuds. I’m a swimmer and when I go to meets, I want to listen to music but it is usually super noisy with people screaming and everything. Also, I’m really not a fan of headphones, they are too bulky for my taste. Thanks in advance for your response and have a good day
  2. So I saw this used pc and was wondering if the price was good enough for me to enter PCMR with it. Price: 700$ CPU: AMD FX tm 8350 GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 980 Storage: 240gb Kingston SSD Ram: 4x4gb of HyperX fury MB: G1 Gaming Gigabyte PSU: 600w Corsair power supply Case: Corsair Carbide 88r Some of the info maybe not so precise, but this is all that is said in the description of the seller. Thanks for your opinion and have a great day
  3. Hi, I bought a used XPS 15 laptop about 4 months ago. It worked as I wanted it to and I've had no problems with it up until now. I use it play CS: GO quite a bit and last night I started to have terrible fps. Before that, I had about 100fps average on the game and know I have barely 15. First I thought that I had some heat problems because my fans were not spining when I was gaming and so I downloaded Open Hardware Monitor. It turned out that my components where running at a decent 65 celcius when gaming but my GPU was barely doing work. The usage was at 12% on the GPU core, 6% on the memory controller, 0% on the video engine and 23% on the GPU memory when gaming. When I open up a game, it peaks at 100% because of my NVIDIA control panel settings but it goes to this usage in about 5 seconds. My CPU usage is normal too, it reaches 40 to 50% usage when gaming. I downloaded the most recent drivers on GeForce experience and I don't know what to do anymore. Thank you very and have a great day
  4. Will it? By how much? I thought about that because I would build something afterwards but I dont have enough money for a cpu at the moment
  5. So I wanted to know if my project would be possible. I just got a 2012 MacBook pro from a friend because it was slow and he didn't use it anymore. I got it because I wanted to open it up and have some fun. I was wandering if I could make something out of the computer and thought about that: Would it be possible to wipeout the hard drive, delete mac os, install windows os, upgrade the build with an ssd, add some ram cause there's only 2gb in there, adding a graphics card by removing the wifi card and adding this thing (https://www.banggood.com/fr/Mini-PCI-E-Version-V8_0-EXP-GDC-Beast-Laptop-External-Independent-Video-Card-Dock-p-1011222.html) and putting everything in a case?
