  1. Ok guys i have done some more testing. I used Heaven Benchmark 4.0, ran it at maz settings for 1hour and had no problems at all. But still when i play League of Legends, or any of the Battlefields my computer crashes. I have noticed it happens once the system gets hotter, still within normal temps of around 65-75Degrees on the GPU and around 50Degrees on the CPU. Do you guys think a fresh install of windows may do the trick ?
  2. Sorry for the late reply, been preparing for my Uni exams. It happened a few times in BF4 and 3, but it mainly happens in League of Legends. @ApolloX75 I have used a Driver cleaner and installed the nVidia drivers again, but havnt had time to play since doing it, but when i do ill let you guys know. I will try MemTest. PSU may be the problem but i am using it from my Older PC, which didnt have these problems , other than Kernel Driver issues.
  3. Bump, still havnt found any solutions
  4. Still having the same problem , any other suggestions ?
  5. I have not overclocked it myself, just what ever it comes at as stock. I will try running V-Sync # I just checked the Even Logger and around the time it Crashed i have Event ID 4101. If that helps with anything
  6. Hi guys, I built my pc about 1 month ago, and all of a sudden itr keeps crashing while im playing League Of Legends. It first starting happeneing and i noticed before it only happened with a Twitch Stream running in the background. Now it happens every other game, while im playing even with nothing running in the background. When it crashes i get either a black or green or orange or brown screen, and in order to get my pc back i have to ALT + CTRL + DEL, and use Task manager. All temps for everything seem to be fine, GPU at 70Degrees, CPU at 45Degrees, Mobo at 35Degrees. These are the temps when it crashes. I also used to get Kernel Drive issues before, but all of a sudden they message never pops up and it just crashes. I have reinstalled the Drivers multple times, using Custom install and tried reinstalling Chrome and League of Legends. Specs are: i7 4790K CPU, MSi Z97 Gaming 3 Mobo, 4GB EVGA 980 FTW ACX2.0 GPU, 16GB Vengpro DDR3 2133Mhz RAM, Asus Xonar Xense SoundCard, Corsair AX860i PSU, Corsair H100i CPU Cooler. Any advice would be great, and if i have left anything out let me know and ill give you more information. I just checked the Event Logger and around the time it Crashed i have Event ID 4101. Thanks in advance
  7. OK guys all is well, no more sounds, no more smells... Sorry for the late update, been really busy with University stuff Thanks for your help and your suggestions
  8. Ok thanks a lot @Aniallation
  9. @G33k 4 L1F3, i have just replaced my soundcard, and everything is now working fine. So i guess it was my own doing of not connecting the molex properly coz im just an idiot lol. @dragoon20005 and @shert73, i have done that, it all smelt fine, and like i said before i just replaced the soundcard and everything seems to be working fine. I will give u guys an update tomorrow letting you know if it comes back. Thanks a ton again guys for all the help.
  10. This is more of a general question but is it safe to use all the ports on the molex or sata cables, so im currently running one sata cable, which is running the Corsair H100i Pump, A Optical Drive, Phanteks Anthoo Luxe 12v Lighting system and also the Fan port thing that comes with the case, sorry i cant think of its actual name lol And also if i can use a single cable to power my GPU as it has an splitter which goes from psu to x2, 6+2pin connectors, and i was wondering if i can use that one cable to run my EVGA GTX 980 FTW Graphics Card which needs a 6 pin and an 8pin? This is to help me with Cable management I may also overclock later down the line. So if its better that i use two if i plan to overclock it, then ill just stick with two of them instead Thanks in advanced
  11. @GoldSrc i put it all together outside the case, and installed windows on it ourside the case, its since i placed it in to the case i notice this noise and Smell. @ G33k 4 L1F3 I think checking the case fans could help... will see today thanks Thanks for the suiggestions guys.
  12. OK thanks for the follow advice, smell idk how to explain it, smelled of a mixture of the new parts along with something burning..... it just came when the noise came, thats exactly when i noticed it. Im prety sure its not coil whine, coz i have heard coil whine before from my old EVGA GTX 670 FTW, its more of an high pitch electrical noise, like as if something wasnt connected properly.... So thats why im quessing i didnt connect the Molex properly. Also since i have disconnected it the noise has not come back but the smell still lingures but thats probs just me, i tend to do shit like that in my head lol
  13. Hi guys, i just put together my first pc on my own, and seem to ran into issues.... Specs : i7 4790K, MSi Gaming 3 Mobo, 16GB Ram - 2133Mhz, currently running at 1333Mhz will change that later, EVGA GTX980 FTW, Corsair 860i PSU, Asus Xonar Xense Soundcard, 500 GB Samsung SSD, 2tb Seagate Hardive, case - Phanteks Enthoo Luxe. Strang thiing is the noise comes and goes, a long with the smell.... But whenever i stick my head into the Case and take a wiff of it its just the smell of new components, not the odd burning smell.... I have discconected my Sound Card as the sound seemed to come from the Molex connecter area. I hate Molex connectors, so it maybe that i may not have connected it properly, but i have no idea when it is and when it isnt lol sorry if im making no sense, or if i typed words incorrectly, just posting from my phone in a bit of a panick state... LOOOL Thanks for the help in advance Harbs
