  1. I'm having some trouble setting up HDR on my monitor. It's an iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1. Turning on windows HDR makes the image look super washed out, and also turning HDR on on the monitor makes the image noticeably dimmer and slightly green tinted. I thought about buying a calibrator for the HDR to see if that'd help, but wanted to see what you guys thought of it first? I've taken photos with neither HDR setting on, windows HDR on, monitor HDR on, and both turned on to make comparisons. Neither HDR Settings on Windows HDR on Monitor HDR on Both HDR on All photos taken with exact same exposure/wb settings I'm pretty sure that having them both on shouldn't dim the screen or make the colours tinge like that, as I've connected this pc to my TV before and had no issues with HDR. I've also noticed that with both HDR Settings turned on, text looks really over sharpened. Any help you can give is really appreciated, thanks.
  2. Ryzen 3 1200 MSI B350 Tomahawk 8GB Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz Sapphire RX460 4GB It's an old build, had it for a couple years. Recently moved to a new case but same internals. At first it seemed as if it only happened during games, but now it will just occur on it's own on the desktop. Tried re-seating the graphics card and blew inside the PCIe connecter with compressed air in case dust had somehow managed to get in there and was messing up the connection, but that did nothing. I don't have a second system to test the card in, or a second card to test in it's place.
  3. I've started experiencing some glitches appearing on the screen which i think might be caused by my graphics card. Here's a video I recorded to show the issue (slow motion to make each frame more visible) https://youtu.be/jOotbqObSWE The issue seems to happen consistently around 1h 40mins after I turn the PC on. I've got a Sapphire RX460 4GB.
  4. Whenever i try to launch doom (2016) i get a bsod error saying "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE" and it says what caused it was "atikmpag.sys". I've looked around and the usual culprit is out of date graphics drivers but mines are up to date (17.1.1 on RX 460). What else could be the issue?
  5. thanks for the suggestions. while i would go for the 760k according to amazon it is way outside the price range (£160 used). The rx460 is a must at £125 for the model i was looking at. That leaves £75 for a processor.
  6. Hi I bought a pre-built pc about a year ago. Specs are: AMD A4-5300 APU (sigh) MSI FM2-A75MA-P33 Motherboard 4GB of ram (I have since upgraded to 16GB) I was looking to upgrade and decided on an RX460 and an Athlon X4 860K but am unsure on compatibility between them and the motherboard. Would there be an issue or am i fine with this combo? Is there any way in which i could improve (Budget £200)?
