  1. Does anyone have experience with the samsung odyssey G5? The ultrawide 1440p 165Hz version (1000R curve). It's a VA panel so I don't know what to expect, some say VA is really bad with the smearing and some say it's not that bad. Currently running an LG 29inch ultrawide 1080p 60Hz IPS monitor. The deal I could get on the samsung is €300. 2 other options are the AOC CU34G2X (VA, 1440p, 144Hz, 1500R curve) at €289 and AOC U34G3XM (VA, 1440p, 144Hz, flat panel) at €299 Recommendations? What about the different curves? Or the flat panel? For me, right now it's a shot in the dark
  2. So I am looking at a new gpu, currently looking at the reference 7800 xt and the asrock 7800 xt challenger. Since the max gpu length in my case is 290mm. The difference between a 7700 xt and 7800 xt was less than €100 so the 7800 xt would be the best choice? Would upgrade my psu to a rm850e from corsair, it is on sale for €99. Can't really find gpu reviews for the asrock challenger and the reference card. Does anyone have one of them? Reference card looks a bit more premium and weights slightly more.
  3. Was looking at the white Corsair rm850e yes
  4. I'll be looking at the 6700xt aswell.
  5. I get that it will be a bottleneck, but it is also kinda future proof? 1000W psu would be kinda overkill, and it would not fit since i'm still using my 'unique' corsair 380T mini itx case , so it would not fit.
  6. Even the 3080 using DLSS, the 6800xt would be better? I get it in the long term with the bigger Vram yes
  7. Will be looking at those! The only thing for now I would use raytracing with would be minecraft hahaha.
  8. Yeah everything is more expensive here xd
  9. new price is around €570. In Europe all this stuff is more expensive than in other parts of the world.
  10. Country: Belgium Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming Current specs: r5 3600x 16gb ddr4 Asus B450i ITX board evga gtx1060 6gb ftw Corsair cx550m I was looking in to upgrade my gpu to an second hand rtx3080 10gb or rx6800 (xt). Wich one should I choose? Would ray tracing and DLSS make the rtx3080 the better choice? they are around the same price range, €450-€500. I know I need to upgrade my psu to atleast 850W I guess.
  11. Hello, I have an old monitor that i use as second display but it only has vga and my laptop only has hdmi. So u bought an hdmi to vga converter, When I use is with my laptop for school it works perfectly fine. But when I use is with my gaming laptop (Has an gtx 1050) It doesn't work. the screens is not being detected. I got it detected once but then both the screens (from my laptop and the second display) stayed black. Tried updating the nvidia drivers but is does nothing. What could i do to make this work?
  12. Yeah but i think for just browsing the web it's not that bad This is the PSU that's in the pc right now delta electronics DPS-220UB
  13. Hello, The pc of my parents is really old, but they don't want to spend a lot of money on it. So i looked and they had an old amd dual core. I thought about upgrading it to an amd 2200G with 4 gb ram and an ssd and hdd. The psu has 220W of power so i think it's enough for them, but it only has a 4pin instead of an 8pin cpu connector. Could this be a problem?
  14. I just saw the video's from LTT and JayzTwoCents and the RTX 2060 looks quite good aqtually, I suggest to look at the video's! I have the gtx 1060 6gb and i'm going to buy an 1440p monitor, but not planning to use it as my primary screen, maybe for a few games but mainly video's and movies.
