  1. The PC works fine gaming on other monitors, but will give a Radeon crash popup on the Alienware AW2725DF monitor. I’ve tried fresh driver reinstall with DDU + reinstall Windows. Should I RMA it?
  2. Ya I never fully trust power supplies that aren’t evga or seasonic. A pretty serious failure. Thankfully, all the other components survived.
  3. This was built by cyber power so doesn’t look great for them if it was builder error
  4. I work at a repair shop called Rob & Pete Computer Geeks. A customer came in with a cyber power pre built that after a few years of use stopped showing a display. The integrated graphics worked, but not the 3080. I checked the cooler master power supply, and the pcie connector is melted on the power supply side. Luckily, all the other parts seem undamaged.
  5. wow power supply pcie cable is melted Ya worked fine for over a year
  6. I have a pre built computer with an RTX 3080. Not mater what display or cable I use, it won’t display an image. Weirdly enough if I plug the cable into the motherboard, the integrated graphics will work fine. This issue goes for both BIOS and Windows 11. The 3080 is not detected by Windows in device manager. Tried reinstalling drivers with DDU. I tried a different GPU that only needed PCIE power, and that worked fine. I tried an older 1080Ti. That worked fine for a little while, but then the fans spun loudly and the screen went black. I plugged into the motherboard again after that happened, and it displayed through the integrated graphics. But seemed to be acting as a second display because none of the desktop icons were there. It can’t be Windows because this problem occurs with the BIOS as well. Could it be the PSU power cables or PSU itself?
  7. Disconnected the SSD (replaced the HDD a year ago) after removing the display, now it’s working normally going to internet recovery mode so macOS got really screwed up in the SSD I guess
  8. I can’t even boot into recovery mode though to reinstall macOS on anything, would a usb installer work?
  9. Sorry forgot to mention that regular and internet recovery mode do not work either
  10. I have an iMac 27” 2015 that keeps boot looping with the same message ”restarted because of a problem.” The Apple logo shows for a split second with the loading bar at 0% and then it restarts with the error message. I have tried PRAM / NVRAM reset and tried different RAM. I assume it’s a hardware issue. Any one else see this happen??
  11. Tried different gpu (750ti) and issue went away. Tried the 2060 in a different pc and got the same game feeezing issue. Here is the log file from gpu-z. GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt
  12. I believe its an EVGA 500W and also tested Gigabyte 650W, but got same results.
  13. The current PSU is 500W and I tried a 650W and same thing happened. I have not tried the other GPU slot yet. But I did try a low end GT 620 in the same slot and the games didn't crash.
  14. I have a gaming pc with an RTX 2060 that suddenly started crashing in every game. The games just crash so I can just close it with task manager or it closes itself. I have tried everything. I have tried replacing RAM, SSD + fresh reinstall of Windows, power supply, and DDU + reinstall GPU drivers, and older GPU drivers. The only time it "worked" was with default Windows drivers before it auto installs the correct NVIDIA drivers. With Windows default drivers, games run terribly of course, but they don't crash. Weirdly, Fur Mark won't crash though and some old game demos like Quake III or Halo 1 don't crash either. Ultra Kill Prelude demo worked as well, but Anger Foot demo crashes (both from itch.io). Temperatures are normal as well so not overheating. I have not reseated the CPU, but idk if that would help. I have reseated the GPU a few times. Haven't tested a different motherboard either. Is this just a bad GPU?
