  1. OK seems weird that is trying to write in a Event Log that it's not present on your computer. Can you check if you have the following key on your registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Channels\AirSpaceChannel and see if the key Enabled is set to 0 Mine is set to 1, but I do have the Event Log present in my computer. If the Key does not exist try to create it. Test playing the game again.
  2. That BSOD seems to be related to the windows event log. doing a little research on the error code i found the name to be "Circular Kernel Context Logger Error". What operating system are you using? Do you have office install? any office background processes running?, in most of the websites that I have research this error is most of the times related to MS Office. Can you check if you have the following event logs in your system?
  3. By default, in any recent browser (Chrome, Firefox) YouTube will try to use a codec called VP8/VP9 which is not hardware accelerated (your CPU does all the heavy lifting), but file sizes are up to 50% smaller than h264, and thus being prefer for streaming. What you need to do is force YouTube to use h264, this can be done using plugins or extension like h264ify, which will fool YouTube by reporting the browser as NO VP8/VP9 compatible. I have tested this with my personal laptop (Dell Inspiron 7559) with Fire Fox and it works, CPU load is 100% while playing 4k60fps videos with the extension OFF, and stays around 30% or 40% with the extension ON. This is using the Video Card integrated on the Intel Core i5, you could make the switch to use the GTX 960m if you like on the nvidia settings. Hope this helps.
  4. Hi, I have the 7559 too, I bought it at the beginning of last year. the 7559 and the 7567 are completely different in terms of layout of the port and cooling, speaker placement etc. So no, it is not possible to swap the motherboards. (example 7567 has 2 usb ports and the audio jack on the right and the card reader on the left, the 7559 has 1 USB port and the card reader on the right, the audio jack is on the left) HOWEVER. Dell reused the chassis of last year 7559 on the new 5577, that is equipped with a GTX 1050 (NON TI). and that motherboard when available on repair shops, should be a direct fit (not entirely sure, since I have not done it myself).
  5. Everyone is right here, do not upgrade. that is an already dead platform, you are better off saving the money for a new build.
  6. In case you are still interested. I am finally home and did the test. I downloaded a Netflix movie to the phone (Samsung Galaxy), connected it to the Chromecast (Ver 2) via the Google Home App, the option to mirror the screen on the TV. then started playing the movie on my phone. IT DOES WORK. However i did not have any sound on the TV, and the video was choppy and quality was not really good. So I think your best bet is to get the Shield Tablet or any other tablet with HDMI out. Hope this helps.
  7. The reason I think is becasue ChromeCast will connect to netflix directly to play the movie and not to your phone, that's why you don't get the controls on the downloaded content. BUT!!!! You can mirror your smart phone screen to the ChromeCast. Maybe you could try that not sure if it works for Netflix Content. I have both Netflix and a ChromeCast at home, but I won't be home until Saturday to test. I know it works with the videos from the Galery (Not Google Photos) of my Samsung Phone to the TV. Cast your Android screen from the Google Home app https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6059461?hl=en-GB
  8. The have a Riser Card Recommended TYAN Riser Card M2091, PCI-E x16 1U riser card I think you get that separately, and I dont't know if you have many of those to support multy GPU. Also it seems it supports only single slot cards, so very limited GPU support there.
  9. I have succesfully used this software to upgrade the Hard Drive in my old Desktop computer. It works quite well. https://www.howtogeek.com/199068/how-to-upgrade-your-existing-hard-drive-in-under-an-hour/
  10. You can probably clone the Drive and tell the Cloning Software not to copy certain folders (like Your documents, pictures, etc.) That way you will only copy OS Files and Application files (you want to have your apps in the SSD so the will load faster)
  11. It's because with VSync ON the video card has to wait for the monitor to say that it is ready to draw another image, so your GPU has to wait, and this adds a little bit of latency becuase they have to Sync. Now with VSync OFF your video card will start sending frames to the monitor regardless if it's ready to draw them or not, this will cause another problem "screen tearing". That is kind of a easy explanation, there's a lot more to it like the Frame Buffer, etc. But there are plenty of good reads on the internet regarding that topic.
  12. Basically 250FPS on a 75Hz Monitor = 75 FPS on your eyes 250FPS on a 144Hz Monitor = 144 FPS on your eyes 250FPS on a 240Hz Monitor = 240 FPS on your eyes So the monitor can only draw as many frames as Herz it has. Your monitor is limiting you to 75 FPS (that's why VSync will lock it at 75 FPS) even if the FPS counter is higher. A 144Hz monitor with GSync and low response times will give you a better experience at an aceptable price range. 240Hz monitors that I know of are kind of expencive an rare.
  13. Is your monitor 144Hz? or has Gsync? maybe you could benefit more form a High Refresh Rate monitor or Gsync than from GPU Utilization.
  14. Depending on the software (games) and drivers, not all the time you will use 100% of the CPU or the GPU. like @Ryan_Vickers said, maybe the game is to easy for the GPU to be push far enough to go over 70%. Drivers play a big part as well, like if you play really old games on new hardware, some of them won't go over XXX FPS, even though they should, and the reason is just that the manufacturer just stop optimizing the driver, so now you have a Driver frame rate cap so to speak.
