  1. Well I think we are being screwed here. I bought my 660Ti in august 2012 I was looking to replace it with a gpu that costs the same +- 250 and has more performance. High end buyers who bought the 680 for 450 dolars in spring 2012 can upgrade to either the twice as fast 980 for more money or the cheaper 970. But we mainstream guys can buy what the 760/960 with the same performance as the 2,5 years old 660Ti ?
  2. I have it dissabled: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38180108/LAN.jpg but sleeps works fine now (the problem with sleep was on my P8Z77-V) now i have problems with turnig off the PC :-)
  3. Update: sleep worsk excellent 8 hours no wake-up so i think there is somethink wrong with the ACPI driver?
  4. Indeed i unpluged On and Reset button still wont shutdown, can there by something wrong with the ACPI or any driver, i didnt mentioned i am using my old windows so no new instalation (windows 7 64bit) OK guys its late here so tonight i am going to try out the sleep function if it wakes up or not, and tomorrow when i have time i will install a fresh copy of windows to my old HDD that i have here somewhere with all of the drivers and hopefully we will see if its a software problem or something wrong with the bios.
  5. OK I did try it out, after sleep it tells me that the PC was turned on via the USB port and thats right I usett the keyboard, but when I turn my PC off it tells "wake up history count -0" btw in the power options "when I press the power button" I changed it to shutdown, then I pressed the button and the PC sort off shut down, it was still running but HDD shut down and my monitors too.
  6. Will try to answer all questions. I had a problem going to sleep on my older board P8Z77-V the PC woke up randomly, no problems with shutting it down. Power On and reset are connected corectly, I made screens of my LAN card but there are too many options in advance. I put my pC into sleep mode and it works but I need time to find out if it doesnt wake up lets say after one hour. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38180108/LAN.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38180108/LAN2.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38180108/LAN3.jpg
  7. I am having this problem, after changing some parts in my PC (CPU,MB,RAM) the PC wont shutdown when I press the button in windows 7, it restarts then i need to go to bios and press the power on/off button. Any clues what it could be ? I installed everithing even the ACPI driver, lan wake up dissabled.... I clearly hear the HDD shutting down, after the restart they spinn up again. I was using the Asus P8Z77-V now I have the Maximus VI gene
  8. A friend has the G 650W, but its 118€ and the RM is fully modular. So i will stick with the 660Ti for a litle longer. One more thing Corsair RM650 vs. Enermax Revolution 650W ?
  9. Guys please its not like i will buy the new stuff and then pray to sell my Ivy for good money, as I said I have the option to sell it and from that money buy the new prats. My only concern was the PSU so from what you recommended I will buy a new PSU.
  10. When I am not gaming I dont want to hear the fan at all.... I dont mind spending a litle more for quiet operations my budget is +- 100€ for the PSU and the cabels should be thin for good cable management.
  11. That PSU is bad-ass and i like its quietness, but ok ok i will buy a new PSU then. Is the RM650 ok ? "Mooshi" the upgrade will cost my next to nothing thats why I am upgrading. The only costs will be the PSU and thats all. Still one question what do you thing EVGA 660Ti stock vs. EVGA 760 stock ?
  12. Hi there first post on this forum. My question is can my 4years old Enermax PRO 82+ 425W power a new Haswell rig? My point is, I have the option to sell my "older" PC without the PSU,HDD"s and sound card for the same money to buy a haswell rig, its not like I need haswell but you know how it goes Today the PSU is powering: 3770K (4.0GHz) // 4x4GB Corsair RAM // Asus P8Z77-V // EVGA 660Ti (slightly OC) // 2xHDDs // 1 SSD // X-Fi sound card // DVD-BD RW // 4x12cm fan // Fractal Define R3. My measurements say that the PC is using +- 350W when playing Crysis. I want to buy: 4770K (OC to 4.0GHz) // 2x8GB Corsair RAM // Asus Maximus VI Gene // EVGA 760 (the cheapest one) and yes I want a blower fan style // 2xHDDs // 1 SSD // X-Fi sound card // DVD-BD-RW // 4x12 fan // Fractal Define mini. From what i have read the GPU is using +20W more compared to may default 660Ti and to my surprise the CPU+MB compo is using when 100% load + 25W more power. Its not like i dont want a new PSU bud when I am going to buy one it would be the new Corsair RM 650W and thats 100€ here where I am living. Or maybe should i stick with the 660Ti ?
