  1. I feel the upcoming zen architecture will be the answer to your desires. Atleast I hope anyway.
  2. I had another idea. How about a CNT 0.1 nm (not technically possible) manufacturing node graphics card with 150% power efficiency, instead of using power, it geberates power(again, definitely not possible). No heat output and would be the size of a sandwhich. It would not have a specified clock speed, but instead one constant rate of function that is 100% stable in all situations.
  3. Any guesses as to when OLED will become cost effective for desktop monitors? I'm pretty sure the only mainstream monitor with OLED so far is LG's extra wide curved monitor. It would be nice to see this technology's amazing advantages being put yo use. Things such as the unbeatable response time in all color shifts, perfect blacks, perfect viewing angles, power efficiency, slimness, overall material efficiency(meaning so much more is acheived with so much less material than LCD), and its ability to be curved. This is of course putting aside the manufacturing issues that come along with making OLEDs but I feel the more time put into development for a mainstream product(just like anything else) will refine most if not all of these problems.
  4. I know the amount of time for the signal to reach the DAC and be processed is greater than a straight line from the motherboard. Is this difference noticeable?
  5. A computer that runs off the power of rainbows and sunshines, the only heat output or noise is happiness and butterflies.
  6. I computer that runs on Morgan Freemans voice and is made out of god's arm hair
  7. A computer that uses the unused power of your brain to operate.
  8. A computer that goes on your necklace made of carbon nano tubes that has unlimited processing power and runs on universal electricity, it would hook up wirelessly to your eyes so that the computer is displayed over the enviroment from your perspective making immersion go to a whole new level.
  9. I am planning on running 2 290x's in my new rig. I am looking a 860 watt power supply from corsair(their ax series). I plan to do some light overclocking on both the graphics cards and on my cpu. Just wondering if the 860 watts is enough or if i should jump to 1000 watts. My rig will be fx 8350, samsung 840 pro, 16 gb corsair 1600 ram and the two r9 290x's.
  10. Yeah does look good, dont know if the LED's come in red. that would be great.
  11. I am seeing allot of mixed answers, but I think the general idea is that it is in the distant future that they will continue the designing of new cpus, or atleast when they get back on their feet financialy. Correct?
  12. Can be anything, unrealistic, impossible, colurful, doesnt matter. Just spill it here.
