  1. im in such the same boat as you that I could have written your post myself. A few of the things I have found in my research is that there is very little difference in performance in premiere pro and photoshop between the 1070 and 1080. So you might be better off with the 1070 and put the savings towards an intel pcie ssd to use as a scratch disk for the project your working on at the time. Having footage on a pcie ssd would have a greater impact on your workflow than a 1080 over a 1070. Also the 850W power supply is probably a little overkill but not a big expense. check the bottom of this page from puget systems that has detailed testing on varied cpus and gpus in premeire pro, https://www.pugetsystems.com/recommended/Recommended-Systems-for-Adobe-Premiere-Pro-143
  2. dude, if your looking at spending that kind of money those are not the components you should be looking at. for that budget you can go i7 6900k with 2 sli 1080s.
  3. agreed with all, but id still swap out the RX 480 for the strix 1070.
  4. at the resolution your talking about, the 1080 is unnecessary, the 1070 will be just fine. Also since you said there would be no overclocking, even with 2 1070s in sli the 750 power supply is a bit much. With no gpu or cpu overclocking the 650 would be enough even with sli. Again, you could save a bit more by ditching the corsair cooler, without overclocking the 6700 it really isnt going to get that hot even with a bog standard air cooler, so you could save ~60 or so on just getting an air cooler.
  5. hi all, im looking at getting the corsair 750d case, and i want to put the corsair h100i aio liquid cooler for the cpu and then 2 corsair aio liquid gtx 1080s. is this case going to have the right vents in the right places to mount all of the aio cooler fans?
