Im just blessed to live in a cold weather climate and smart enough to harness the cold energy. Id love one of them $800.00 phase change machines. im considering going extreme. pots here are expensive as shit. i think i will fab one up for a fraction of the cost. any ideas? im thinking of chopping an old stock 775 heatsink for the base and attaching to a pot somehow. bonding 2 different metals might be challenging, but im down. go freezer rig every one is entitled to sub ambient operation . ( keep psu outside of freezer for longer lasting cooling )

sorry this feature is built into the cpu, no way to disable it cheat it by keeping your chip cooler put your parts in the freezer oh and the forum record for 3770k was run at 5.4ghz on 3770k...good luck -

4 year old xeon x5670 vs amd 9590 at turbo 5ghz
ProKoN replied to alihazzi7's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
bclk is still easy if you have a good board. i can run most high end boards up to 175-190 on lga 1150 but if you have unlocked chip you dont mess with bclk for daily ocs on modern chips. back in da day it was all about bclk and fsb baby -
sounds good champ. 730 here just enjoying some earl grey vanilla tea then im gonna push some more cores too northsys is back benching even lower then before. guess his submissions get take down....

your basically limited to what a motherboard can effectively push its max base clock to heres my x5650 with a 2ghz+ overclock. at 4.6 it smokes at 5ghz 9590 x5670 is a better overclocker because it has higher multiplier biggest difference of xeon vs core series is xeon has different imc -

clock for clock the 5670 is gonna smoke the 9590 its also gonna consume more power doing so.
