  1. so i noticed this today and it basically cannot be unseen https://i.gyazo.com/6b0418018c9f76634b8f6a185273b449.png from what i've read the following things "can" help i've tried "jscreenfix" for about 20 minutes i've tried using a white screensaver for about 3 hours any other suggestions?
  2. well never heard of anyones stuffs being damaged from a random poweroutage, the cooler is i believe almost 4 years so warranty should still be there according to corsair website hydro series have 5 year warranty,
  3. so i switched place with a fan that i know was working that one still went to work as soon as i ower on so i just instantly shut it off, so i guess pump must be dead
  4. i dont even know how it sounds + theres so much other noise so i doubt i could hear even if i knew what to look for
  5. so everything have been working fine up until today, we had some poweroutages ( not so unusual this time of year ) and when i went to boot it up i was greeted by a BSOD so i went into bios and saw temp was around 80 and i figure that cant be right so i reset to default in bios and it booted up i checked realtemp and everything was fine, but then a few hours later same thing happen and now i cant even get into windows, also the LED that always been glowing white is red all of the sudden, i've tried pretty much all i can think of, doublecheck all connectors making sure they're connected properly, all fans are spinning
  6. so i've had my router for many years ( RT-N13U Rev.B1 ) and it's always been plug and play and always been getting my maximum speeds that i've had available which is somewhere along 80-100 mbps both on upload and download, but this weekend i had massive issues and could not my upload or download above 3 mbps so i could barely play games was frequently losing connection to servers and so on, and today i finally found the fix i went into the router in QoS and enter 90000 KB/s in manual uplink speed and now everything is working my only question is why this happen... TL;DR i found the fix and it's working properly now
  7. i made quick search and i dont believe the new set of rams had an XMP profile ( i havent actually installed and checked around with it yet since it's kinda late and to open and do things in my case require a decent amount of work )
  8. maybe but my issue is i wont be able to run in XMP which i did on my previous set of 4 so i do believe it will effect my performance
  9. so heres my story: a few years ago i bought x4 Ram - Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 4GB HyperX Genesis, CL9-9-9-27, 240pin 1.5V stock and 1.65V XMP 2 of those 4 started causing problems so i contacted the retailer and i sent them back they confirmed they were causing issues and i got sent new ones since warrenty still apply and i didnt think more of it, today when i picked them up and got home i noticed they are not the exact same model and have slightly different specs new ones are Kingston HyperX Fury Black DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL10 4GB CL10 (10-10-10-30) 1.5V so should i use 2 of each set for 16GB or ram since i quite frequently max out my ram currently with just 8GB? if so what are some things i should look out for because i've heard mixing sets / different timings / voltages / speed can lead to issues with ram
  10. well it's more about not sure what it's called the memory voltage controller or smt ( i believe it's on the mobo ) and people say it will fry it eventually
  11. i've google it and it seems people have very different opinions when it comes to a 4930k some say ram should never be above 1.5V some say ram is more than fine at 1.65V
  12. actually 1 last thing before i go to bed, i am currently running my 2 sticks of ram in channel 3 and 4, so i'm guessing that means i should try the sticks in the same slots?
  13. well i'm not 100% sure about the ram, but it's Kingston 2 set of DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 8GB ( 4x2 ) but the mobo supports quadchannel tomorrow morning i think i will test most of the things
