I am looking at getting a refurbished dell server to use as a render machine for my blender projects. The two choices that I am looking at is a dell R710 and R720. A R710 can start around 300 to 400, a R720 starts at 500 to 600 depending where you look. Is there that big of a difference between the compute power that justifies the major difference in price? The max I am looking to spend would be around 500 to 750 for this project. Any opinions or ideas are welcome.

I am thinking about buying a new tablet because my old nexus 2012 is dying in me and I was wondering if there is any difference between getting a tablet that has more memory? Does it make any difference having 2gb over 1gb or am I just paying for something I will never use? I am compleatly new to apple devices and how they work so does anyone know how to sync my music to an iphone 1and and or an ipod clasic gen 4 20 Gb? I tried to use itunes and it will not work There is no sign that my laptop even dectecs the device? I know the cord is still good because i lent it to a friend at the last lan event i was at and it worked just fine then. Have i done something wrong or is apple being dumb? And better yet is there a way to not use itunes and use a diffrent program to sync stuff to i-devies. any information will be helpful thanks much

Is Powerline any good? I have an Ouya and it has really bad wireless and can never connect for more them a few short seconds so... would a power line be a good idea to have to get internet for? Also how on earth does powerline even work and would it make the powerlines (cabeling) in my house hotter? From Sam Londeen

YA! I FOUND IT! It crashes every time I try to overclock past stock speed... Guess that means that my processor is a dud for overclocking. next time I will get it next time

Should I use the generic video drivers in Ubuntu or should i try installing official AMD drivers for my video card. Is there any benefit to even installing the official drivers? There is no option out there i looked at every tab and could not find one. And to put salt on an open the wound any over clocking settings I try to apply do nothing. Is there a complete step by step guide out there that could coach me through over clocking with this motherboard? Would the fact that my processor is OEM change anything?

Ok i got the the Bios and looked for all of the options that under the advanced tab and could not find the right option. Do i need to flash a diffrent bios? I have the newest one right now. Am I missing something super simple?

For some reason i do not have that option in my bios. Am I doing something terribly dumb and missing something simple? could I have a bad motherboard or old bios?

Does anyone know how to use Asus core unlocker on an M5a78-M-LX board. I have tried to find the setting in the bios and could not see it. Do I have to update bios or download some kind of software?
