  1. @Captain_WD @Tsx @toms94z71 Near 20 days later i reply. Checked all the capacitors on the board, none of which seems to be broken. The system did post and was fine quite a few times, held it in the bios just to be sure it wouldn't crash. A couple of other times i got into the bios and the clock stopped after 5-10 seconds, which lead me to believe the processor was broken. I wouldn't know because i never got around to buying a new one, or used like this time. Really pushing the build now, getting sick of these errors and problems . Just to summarize again, New mobo, used cpu, "defect" ram, it worked for 3 years until change, now it's working again? - new psu even though the old one seemed to be fine, old harddrive from external case, have one in my main computer as well - old graphics card, seems to be fine, was overclocked for 4-5 years, shows no graphical errors so far into the bios . Images from the build is on the first post, onedrive linked. Tried to boot it again the other day, same issue. Any more suggestions to buying new hardware or etc, please post. Thanks, Prins.
  2. Update - No other hard drives available atm here in Norway. Pretty expensive for a new one, thinking about buying a used one, hoping the problem dosen't appear again. Will try disconnecting the HDD, i cannot disconnect the graphics card, as the motherboard has no on board graphics. Any more suggestions? No need to take the computer to a technician, as i am one, and have all the required tools for repairing all kinds of computers. Thanks, Prins
  3. Well, the test with battlefront on 200% scaling, and ultra was successful. On the other hand, tried BF1 again afterwards, and it crashed again. So it seems BF1 is the issue here.
  4. Will try Battlefront (Demo) on Ultra, I suppose it uses lots upon lots of Vram. Update will be posted.
  5. Regarding Heat issues, none have been found so far. Will clean out the computer later today with compressed air. No OC's on it, stock. Maybe it's a game issue, but I have yet to see any other occasions regarding game bugs. So if I was to buy Battlefront, and play it, would the same issue occur? Suggestions? Thanks, Prins.

  7. Computer freezes on the new BF1, Ram and PSU has been switched out since 2013. Ram became faulty, and PSU was fried in a lightning strike. Will post 3D Mark and Heaven Benchmark stats if requested! Here are the specs, Intel Core i7-4770K NZXT Phantom Special Edition Sort/Orange Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5 Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 550W PSU / New one: Cooler Master V750S, 750W PSU MSI Z87-G45 Gaming, Socket-1150 Kingston DDR3 HyperX Predator 8GB (Replaced with same ones) Seagate Barracuda® 3TB Thanks, Prins.
  8. Greetings, Spazegamer. Looking swift as a gaming computer, will run adobe software and rendering software pretty decent. Would change the PSU to a smaller one, if budget is a factor . Wouldn't recommend WD Blue, bad experience from those, as well as WD Black. Maybe change Storage HDD's to 1 Drive, aka 2TB instead of 2 seperate ones, but that's just my opinion Can't see any compatibility issues so far.
  9. Well i switched out the old 07' psu with a new one, same problem still persists.. Maybe the new mobo is fried from the old psu? Thanks.
  10. So this pc has been upgraded quite alot. Pc will only boot after turning PSU on and off, or sometimes after restarting 10+ times. power switch was switched to a temporary recently, still the same problem. The seller who sold me the cpu told me he hadn't tested it properly. Going to list all the parts here: New Psu not the same color, but mostly same specs. Very confusin new psu, reseller said it came with 1 Pci-e cable, and so fourth. Turns out there was no CPU power, except the pci-e cable. Had to buy an SATA to PCI-e adapter. Old psu from 2006-2007 was in the case from before, 580 watts, and 2 pci-e cables.- http://www.inter-tech.de/index.php?option=com_content&id=112%3Asl-500&Itemid=153&lang=en cpu - https://www.amazon.com/AMD-4-Core-Processor-Socket-FD4100WMGUSBX/dp/B005UBNL0A One of the pins was a little bit bent, but managed to insert correctly. Tried to bend it back before insertion, and that worked aswell. Case - old case i got from a friend, was a "gaming" case back in 2006-2007. Ram - Corsair 6x2 gb. Had to buy used ram to diagnose those. Tested with defective corsair 2400mhz and old corsair 1600mhz. Have tested with 1 ram brick many times, New cpu fan - hyper evo 212 New motherboard - ASROCK 980DE3/U3S3 R2.0 - Bad experience, no screws or brackets included. My old graphics card, Ati radeon 6770, was overclocked for about 3+ years, ran BF3 - BF4 on it low/Medium with good frames. Tried with an old Nvidia 8000 series, big one with 2 pci-e connectors. Same problem, no difference. Hard drive - kinda old external one from western digital 2012-2011 era. The computer still boots onto the Windows 8 located on it when possible. All fans are spinning as usual, no exceptions. Lights on fans are also working 100%. I recently bought a new psu ^ The inter-tech one, and the computer booted the first time, but not the second. Also motherboard wont boot into Windows 8 iso on external hard drive or usb stick. Been working with computers for a long time, but cannot diagnose this one. Researched alot on google, especially on this forum but nothing could help. Computer with OLD psu would boot into BIOS, but freezed after 10-ish seconds. It no longer freezes. Bought alot of new and used parts, only thing i can image now is the CPU. Will be very disappointed to find out it was defective when i bought it. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Prins. Added some pictures from the case: Onedrive folder with pictures
