  4. @Tetras Thanks for this breakdown, really helpful!
  5. This is very helpful, thanks for the above. On the CPU would you recommend a similar priced Intel model or one of the Ryzens? Thanks
  6. Thanks for the advice mate, appreciate it. On the CPU is it a decent one? Not too keyed up on AMD in comparison to intel. Thanks.
  7. To be honest mate, I'd rather spend the extra money than risk the build myself. Is it relatively easy to do? Also, is there any changes you'd recommend for the build at all? Or are all of the parts quite satisfactory? Thanks.

I'm assuming you don't need a monitor, OS, keyboard or mouse, but if you want I can reformat the part list to suit your needs.

Here we have an extremely powerful gaming PC that will smash games at an resolution, from 1080P to 4K. The CPU is a liquid cooled i5 6600K (will be OC'd to gain further performance), 16GB of RAM for any rendering/workstation needs on top of future proofing, 256GB of pretty much the fastest storage you can currently buy on top of a 2TB HDD for all your games and other stuff, and to top it off the most powerful gaming class GPU you can buy today. Also note the reliable PSU, the LED case fans and imo the coolest case you can buy today. Hope this helps :)

@Rolfie No. The only real noticeable difference between an i5 and an i7 is the hyperthreading, which adds 4 extra virtual cores. The majority of games currently rely more on the GPU than the CPU to determine overall performance, so in most games you won't see any performance increase at all between a 6600K and a 6700K. Intel and companies that sell pre-built PCs try to trick you buy calling the i7 a "gaming" CPU, when it is more of a workstation CPU designed to plow through heavy processing loads such as rendering. :)
