Yes the cable works fine I tested it on my tv, in that case I will try and take it over to a local computer shop and see if they can pinpoint what is broken and why .

I was going to hit f8 and try to boot into safemode after going into the mobo but that was when my computer stopped outputting video

I actually was also running an avast virus at the time and nothing showed up. The mod I had installed was a reputable one that was previously downloaded like a week ago, installed uninstalled and being reinstalled at the time of the freeze. I do not have access to a second computer to switch out and test parts.

I was on my desktop looking over my mods on nexus mod manager when my mouse and keyboard stopped responding, after a minute the computer rebooted, went to the login screen, froze, and then rebooted, rinse and repeat. After doing a hard shutdown and turning it back on I went to my motherboard settings, looked it over, left the settings, and my monitor stopped receiving video. I did another shutdown, and now when I power it on all the lights in the case go on and my keyboard lights up but no display is outputted. Shut it down again, removed my graphics card completely and plugged my monitor into my mobo hdmi and booted up, still nothing. Tried my tv to see it was the monitor, still nothing.
