Just one more thing as a side note, since this mobo has USB 3.1, would it still be fine if I bought a 500GB external hard drive with USB 3.1 for my Steam library so that I can take my games with me when I go to my friends house, or would that make my gaming experience bad with slow loading speeds and such?

I was thinking of getting an i7 but there was a change in my budget so I had to lower it and also I won't be doing too many heavy tasks and if an i5 can run the games at High+ settings with 60 fps or higher or even over 30, because I am coming from console, then that would be fine as well just as long as a see good performance.

I am looking to building a PC that will be good for gaming and light video editing. My intended games involve a lot of map rendering. I want to be able to play Arma 3, Rust, and Ark: Survival Evolved on High+ settings with over 60 fps. I already know what GPU, case, RAM, and power supply to get. I was just wondering if the Intel i5 6500 with the Asus Z170-A ATX DDR4 Motherboard and a Corsair Hydro H100i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU cooler would be a good match for those tasks? PS, I am not planning on overclocking anything.
