  2. Hello everyone, recently I bought the Samsung 2.1 soundbar Model: HW-M435 and I am trying to connect it to my PC. I have a gigabyte Z390 aorus master motherboard. I am trying to connect the soundbar to the PC through HDMI cable, tried the HDMI port coming from the mother board and the HDMI coming from the graphic card (RTX 2080) but in both cases the PC did not sense the bar and no sound came out of it till i connected it with optical cable. I tried the HDMI and the ARC one on the bar with no good. do i need to change the cable or is it actually not possible to connect the soundbar to PC with HDMI?
  3. i am about in the same situation ... I also have those 2 on my list https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077K87CWL/?coliid=I38OTB2CWMMM85&colid=3R0905P6YNGA7&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CY1X7YL/?coliid=I29NFFI6TMLVM3&colid=3R0905P6YNGA7&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it and I am trying to find a difference between them and the ED323QUR just to justify the price difference. I also have the higher tier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BDQNDKY/?coliid=I3GIMVQ4FXBVUT&colid=3R0905P6YNGA7&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it that is more expensive for the GSync (I guess) ... it tends to fall to the 550 range sometimes so I am just waiting. If you or someone can help with the differences that will. I can't find any sort of a review or video that you can rely on for the ED323 though
  4. well for now I was thinking of a game on one of them and internet or video running on the other ... difficult to play majority of games on n screens as the bezel gets in the way .. but would it be able to run both at 4k whether with this setup or with games on the 2 monitors? I got the items but won't be able to build before mid Dec. .. so if I need something else now will be the time
  5. good decision ... get something small for fun and games and save for college
  6. @Yifti ... will be broke for some months ..... got the 9900k, z390 aorus master and cooler master 360ML ... I had the money but not anymore I guess
  7. hello folks, just received my RTX 2080, got the gigabyte RGB, I wounder if it can run 2 4K monitors? I got the Dell U2718Q and the LG 27UD59-B. Probably no issues on using office and internet .. but what about games? anyone faced issues?
  8. thx for your answer. will it work with the following setup? connect the monitor downstream to a usb hub, connect the 2 laptops to the hub, connect the wireless usb receiver in the monitor
  9. Hey guys, hope everyone enjoyed the vacations. I bought a Dell u2718q monitor (very good deal !!), i will receive it in a couple of days. I am planning to connect my 2 laptops to it. one will be through the HDMI and the other through the thunderbolt (the only avaialble in xps 9360 for some reason !!). Now i have 2 questions please 1- can I use the included displayport to mini displayport cable to connect the monitor to the thunderbolt port in XPS 13? or is it a different port and I have to use a thunderbolt/ usb C to displayport cable? 2- i have a USB wireless mouse and keyboard, what will be the best way to connect those to both laptops at the same time without a lot of hassle. I thought of connecting the USB receiver to the downstream port of the monitor but I am not sure if that will allow me using them with both laptops what do you think?
  10. Hello guys, this is driving me INSANE!! i have a toshiba S55-A5364 laptop upgraded to Windows 10 through the free offer Microsoft had for me. Now - i guess after that famous updat - i cannot connect to wifi. The computer will search for network and then fail to connect OR sometimes connect to network with no internet OR just say no wifi networks to connnect. OK, i did the following, several times and in different orders, so kindly read before suggesting 1- updated the latest driver for wifi adaptor from toshiba and the manufacturer as well 2- deleted and reinstalled the driver 3- went to safe mode, stopped all services and restarted 4- made the power option to high performance, and never close the wifi 5 did the windows 10 troubleshooting 6- ran command prompt as an admin and add this line: reg delete HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /va /f (by the way it said the service is not installed) and then netcfg -v -u dni_dne. This was recommended on drivethelife.com 7- updated the modem, restarted the modem, changed the password, changed the location ...etc nothing is working and i really don't do why those guys in microsoft are just making our life terrible this way !!! Please help
  11. i think i will go with what Shiv78 suggested. it is direct and simple no many connections so signal should be better, the second screen is actually like 15 feets away thx guys
