Thanks for your response. I'll run resolution at 1080p. It's not for gaming it's for stable diffusion.
Processor i7 4790k
Ram DDR3 8 GB
SSD for OS
I have no dedicated GPU. This will be my first ever GPU in my entire life. Does bottleneck affect stable diffusion ?

What os does the think client run? That seems like just a low end pc to me.
Id probalby run linux on the thin client with something like parsec on here.
speed is ok, but id probably would edit video over it if you don't have to. Just less responsive, and a bit more latency.
Thank you I got that.

sure,
1. method - (easy - free) - setup dyndns, open port on your router, install openvpn, generate profile, setup vpn client on thin client and load the profile and connect
2. method - (easy ) rent a vserver on a cloud provider (sometimes they offer vpn servers), set up vpn, and connect both devices to the vpn, then you can connect to either device from one another
3. simple shitty method, open port on your host network, setup ssh on windows, accept only via key, connect the thin client via tunnel ssh -L, and forward the vnc port to a local port on the thin client and use it top connect per vnc. Ah ofc you need to have vnc on your windows
all above are just rough description of the methods, they are more complicated in detail, so watch a guide or read a tutorial or smth
or you could some software like teamviewer
Thank you so much, I'll do it

I havent really understood the question:
Do you want to connect to your main pc via thin client to do stuff on it ?
If its the case then:
- has your main pc got windows installed or linux?
-
Do you have to use the Desktop interface ?
- Are you fine with working over vnc ? Definetly not for gaming !
Or do you want to just run stuff on your main pc, and use the thin client just for ssh
If so, then sure why not.
Im using thin clients at all of my houses to connect to my servers, if I ever have to
Yes You're right I want to connect to my Main pc via thin client to do stuff but remotely. But different location. Can I use Main PC which is on home & my thin client on my office. Is it possible to connect using internet connection since it's main pc in different location.
Main PC have windows 10 -

What model of think client?
Id just get a basic windows/linux pc and run something like parsec, but it won't have the same experience as having the pc locally.
Model G1 Thin Client PC - Microsoft RD Thin Client,
How about speed ? for Video editing ? -
is it possible connect server PC remotely using thin client. I mean I have i7 pc on my home. Can I use that i7 pc to my office remotely which is 4 km away using think Client remotely using wifi. Both home & office have high speed internet connection.
Sorry for stupid question, I have no experienced in server side.Advance thanks for your response. -

I am by no means any expert on this matter (I just want to help and give my opinion based on experience with my IPS) I don´t have as much BB as you and next to none glow.. but what is normal, that is hard to say.. the first picture I sent you as an example, that I would ask for replacement right away, the secound one... not so sure. You can search for some information about the issue yourself or older threads here. But again I reckon it depends on you personally and how much it annoys... I have my 1440p IPS in repair atm, because of a thrip in the screen (a tiny dot) but it drives me bad.. some people might have not made an RMA and just lived with it.. people are different.
The issue is if it is accepable glow/bb or if it is in such a degree where you would expect better from the product. That is why I sent you the examples, atleast to showcase what I think.
Alright got your advise, thank you so mush. Really appreciated

Hard for me to say. the picture looks "bright" I guess it depends if you are annoyed by the glow and it interfeers with your work/entertainment. If yes, then ask for a replacement. But remember, you might get another monitor with more bleed or one with less.. it is like the lottery, atleast that is my experience.
I do think that it is alot more than I had on mine.
If you search on the issue here at LTT, then you will notice people with much more BB. If you look at another angle does it go away? or stay? IPS glow often only showcase very little for me and only in the sides (like a... hmm grey/silver fog?) Again my advice is that if it annoys you enough to notice it, then get it replaced. I think you should accept atleast a tiny bit of IPS glow, but not too much backlight bleed.
Google examples of IPS glow and you will understand my point and the differences.
Thanks for your response. It doesn't interfeer while I'm working unless I'm working on entire black screen. It looks completely normal until screen goes pitch black. It doesn't bother me either causal use or working design related unless it goes black. Yes you're right if I get replaced by monitor i might even get worst than before that's why I'm really scared to make a replacement.
Yes when I see from below from another angle it completely disappear but it start appear on other side. It changes when I view from another extreme angle does it means normal ? -

Hi all. 3 days back I brought IPS 32 inch 1080p monitor from amazon on prime day for 180$. I noticed that there are backlight bleed on 2 corners. All backlight bleed are visible only when display goes dark. I know backlight bleed is common for IPS panel but how bad is it ? Should I replace it ? The reason why I'm asking because someone said he got replacement but the monitor he got 2nd one was even worst than 1st monitor so I'm scared to replace it. Please suggest me what to do ? Should I replace or should I keep ? I'm working as a graphics designer. Since backlight bleed only visible when screen goes black it's not that much issue for me while I'm working.

Which bootflags are you using? Try using Safe Mode:
-x
Also, doublecheck if you have stuff like Secure Boot enabled since you were running Windows 10. For more help, you might have better luck asking in an actual Hackintosh specific Community forum.
I tried which you said but not working. I tried to post on official hackintosh but no response. Do you have any other solutions ?

I have successfully installed hackintosh Catalina before & it worked really well without an issue for so many days. But 3 days back & I went back to windows 10. Now when I try to install it again which Catalina I get stuck on bootloader. I took pendrive out & tried on different usb but same result. I can able to get into bootloader but when I hit enter to install from bootloader coding appears and computer restart automatically. Tried many times but no luck. Attaching video which you can see for better understanding. Does anyone knows how to solve this ?
My pc spec
i7 4790k
Gigabyte motherboard
Intel HD Graphics 4600 1536 MB
2 x 4 GB DDR3 Ram

Hi everyone, I have a old HCL 22 inch monitor. Monitor works fine for few days but some times it wont work at all. I mean the display have back light lit but no screen display. Suddenly it start working for few days again without a issue but again it won't work for 2 days. I changed power adapter, VGA cable, HDMI cable sample problem. Also motherboard is not a problem because on other monitor it's working fine.
Today monitor start working & I just noticed that when I adjust the brightness my monitor screen start flickering & screen goes off but back light lit as usual. This happens when I start increasing or decrease brightness at certain point monitor start flickering & screen goes off with back light lit. I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Does anyone know what's the issue related to ? or How to solve it ? I'm attaching video which I recorded through my phone while I'm adjusting the brightness.
Thank you, looking forwards for all valuable response.

You can't really compare them that way, simply because they're based on completely different architectures.
Depends on how CPU intensive your workloads are. The 4790K is still a reasonably capable chip today so you'll probably be fine for the most part.
Thanks for valuable answer. really appreciated

The Vega 64 performs similarly to a 1080 or 2060, while the 5700XT trails a 1080Ti or 2070 Super, so it's a good ~15% faster than the 64.
Also, the V64 pulls around 300W of power unless it's a blower style cooler variant, so that's something to keep in mind too.
How much can you get a 5600XT for though? The 14Gbps vBIOS variants (like the Sapphire Pulse or Powercolor Red Dragon) perform slightly better than the 2060 on average.
Edit: For your workload, the Vega 64 could actually come out ahead as it's a lot more geared towards productivity workloads, but there's also the fact that, again, it pulls a lot of power, runs hot and is quite a bit older at this point in time.
I'm sorry if I sound stupid but vega 64 has 4096 Stream Processors and 5700XT only Stream Processors 2560. The reason why I said because you said " Vega 64 performs similarly to a 1080 or 2060, while the 5700XT trails a 1080Ti or 2070 Super "
Also I have i7 4790k processor, will I face bottleneck ?

Vega64 is technically slightly more powerful (and uses a lot more electricity) but it’s a good deal older. It will have connector and driver issues in all likelyhood. I might go for the 5700xt even if it’s not as good on that basis.
Is vega 64 more powerful than a 5700xt for content creation ?

Hello everyone, I'm planning to buy a graphics card. I have 2 two options which is vega 64 and 5700 XT. Which one is best for content creation. I live in India which GIGABYTE Radeon RX Vega 64 cost around 357$ and 5700 XT cost around 471$, both are 8 GB version. Which one is best for content creation software likes after affects, davinci resolve and premier pro. Looking forward for your answer
Thank you

Awesome, last question. Is there any nvidia graphics card alternative to RX5600XT ?
Does NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 12 GB support my motherboard ?
