  1. I just assembled my new ryzen system and attempted an overclock. I changed the CPU multiplier and saved the settings. When I checked using CPU-Z and Aida 64 they both displayed a multiplier of 35 as opposed to 39. I disabled all the power saving options in Bios. I have Also updated the bios to the latest version. I am officially out of ideas. I would really appreciate some help. My System Motherboard: Gigabyte Gaming GA-AB350-Gaming 3 CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X GPU: GTX 1070 Operating System: Windows 10 64 bit
  2. I get that ZEN is coming out soon, however I probably wont be able to afford it immediately. So, it makes sense for me to spend 50 bucks now, and if i want to upgrade in a year i can.
  3. Hello Everyone, Me as a newbie builder made a dumb mistake. I am attempting to upgrade my prebuilt system with an AMD 8350. Little did I know, the motherboard can only handle a 95w TDP CPU. So one alert on startup later. I learned that if you try to install too powerful of a CPU in a crappy prebuilt system motherboard, it will automatically underclock. So here i am spending money on a new motherboard
  4. The HDMI is not going to the TV the Display Port to HDMI is.
  5. I am using a COBY TV as a second monitor. I recently installed a GTX 1070 and used the HDMI to go to my 1080p. I used a display port to HDMI adapter to go to my 720p tv. It worked fine for a 2 weeks. Now the TV is cutting out occasionally and showing "no signal". I unplug and replug the cable to the TV and it works again. Then after a random amount of time it cuts out again. Any theories?
  6. The small problem is the computer is running so slow I doubt I could install and run any software
  7. Sure but it usually doesn't lock ny whole system up to the point that it is unusable
  8. And why is that? How can I tell if that is the case? If it is, what do I do?
  9. The top utilizer now is MsMpEng.exe I have no clue what that is
  10. That's what I figured. what is it. (Probably a newb wuestion but still)
  11. It is svchost, I dont know what it is so I didnt touch it. Should I stop it?
  12. I didn't install a new OS just GTX 1070 and a new power supply. I'll try turning it on and letting it run for a little while
