I recently started to build my own pc, and yesterday when i was changing my video card ( update from 2 gtx 660, to a 1070 strix)
One of my PciE slot broke, and the slider for the card is not on the mobo anymore, i immediatly took of all of the not necessary hardware for running the system, and start troubleshooting, the system post and can go to windows, so the mobo is still working, now the thing that im asking how much the pcie broken slot can damage other component on the mobo or connected to the mobo?
Like Cpu
Gpu
Hdd
I'm a little worried to put my new 500€+ gpu on that mobo, i contacted amazon for a replacement, and i think is on the way, but the question still remain, how high is the possibility to damage othet component
Thanks for the help
