  1. Welp, I couldn't resist and ordered a new CPU and MB. Intel i9 9900K Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI)
  2. Would it be safe to say that it is a CPU/MB related issue? The DRAM LED on the MB also stays lit continiously when I power on the PC.. If I'm 100% sure that the issue will be fixed with buying a new CPU and MB, I'm thinking to just go that route then..
  3. Ordered myself 2 new RAM sticks wich are on the list of supported memory, but still getting the same issue. I'll get myself some thermal paste and re-seat the CPU as a last resort (also will check for any possible burned pads).. And if that's all clear and I'm still getting the same issue, then I'm thinking of sending the MB back to Asus for repair.. and if that also doesn't fix it..... Then it will be a new MB and CPU
  4. As said in my original post, I've already done this with the same result. For my sanity I did it again and I'm still getting B1 error code.
  5. Impossible to do at the moment since I don't have any thermal paste in house Machine has not beed jostled, stayed put where it has always been. Already cleared CMOS aswell, no result. Different PSU sadly not possible since I have no other... Pulled 2 sticks and ran them in A2 and B2, gave me error code 53. Placed them then in A1 and B1 and got the B1 error code.. And sorry for not placing the specs down, forgot that.
  6. Hey all, After pressing the power switch on my machine today I noticed that it didn't want to boot up. After some further inspection I noticed the B1 error code on my motherboard. Some googling later I found out that this has something to do with my RAM, decided to pull all the RAM out and start with 1 stick as recommended in the user manual, no result... Did that with the other 3 sticks I had and still the same error code. When I start it up without any RAM sticks installed, it gives me the error code that there is no RAM installed, so that works I guess? Given I have 4 sticks, it would be very unlikely that all 4 suddenly stopped working. Also tried updating the BIOS via a USB drive, but that also didn't solve the problem... I have no idea what else I could do.. Besides that the motherboard might be broken. Anyone else had this issue or has a possible solution? Thanks in advance!

    Floatplane

I was wondering why we need to place down our address in order to join Floatplane... Would like to join/buy but not give my address, is this possible?
  8. Thank you, clearing the CMOS solved the issue.
  9. As the title says I can't acces my BIOS anymore. When I restart the system my keyboard/mouse etc are not getting recognised until the system is completely booted up. Wich means I can't smash that DEL button to acces the BIOS. Tried to restart via windows where you can then select how you want to boot.. But for that you also need your keyboard to select your option. Does anyone have any clues on how to get into the BIOS?
  10. Using NZXT AER 140mm fans
  11. Asus STRIX X99 Motherboard Intel i7 6800K @ 4.2GHz (overclocked) Asus GTX STRIX 1070 32GB Corsair RAM @ 2666Mhz I can control each fan individually
  12. Hi there, So I got the following setup in my case. Now I was wondering if anyone could help me what the "best" fan curves are for these so that it is silent, but efficiently cooling. Thanks in advance!
