  1. I want to doubt it, that the only problem is my subscriber count. I yet have to try higher output resolution, but more data to be transmitted probably makes it only worse. I got an suggestion on the obs forum that I should try using a 1440p key and transmit it on 1080p, but I can not see any improvement. Also it appears my stream randomly starts to lag, my stream lags or it does not, it wont switch between the two.
  2. tried cpu encoding . but even at 720p the image is not readable. moving or not.
  3. Hey complete obs greenhorn here, I try to stream my sessions playing Guild Wars 2 with my friends, so that we can make best of videos later. But my stream quality is not the best. The text (NPC names ,etc) and everything else blurrs every time I move. My upload speed is 36.75 Mbps. Obs has high priority for its process in Windows 10. Obs version : 27.2.4 GPU: Rx 5700xt (driver 21.50.21.11-220428a-379219C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition) CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 RAM: 32 GB 3200 mhz here is a test stream https://youtu.be/ofPSqQCL6I4 here is a log from obs : https://gist.github.com/Ruboka/9c406432eec1c624e2193094adce004f Also noticed, that OBS has ~50% gpu usage during an active stream. is this behavior normal? I read about obs plugins for AMF too, but those seem to be discontinued. Can anyone help me?
  4. Well if you cant trust the manufacturers website than what? After all, this is new for me and as everyone else I rely on the information I get directly from the website.
  5. I just chatted with the nvidia support. They say the list will be updated soon to add the 3060 ti to the list.
  6. Whats then this list for? https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus
  7. Really ? Thanks a lot. Just to clarify, where could I read about this? Or did you test it with a 3060ti on your own?
  8. Hey, I just noticed the 3060ti is not on the list for cuda supported gpus from nvidia. The last gen 2060 is on the list , so I am questioning why that is. I do not have any experience in this specific feature set and so it happened that I have bought a 3060ti for a friend who does graphics and is still in university and has upcoming projects which I think also can use the gpu. My question is that, can the gpu somehow use those features if a programm is able to use cuda? The gpu does have cuda cores after all. I am feeling realy dumb right now for missing sth like this. The list: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus
  9. Thanks man, doing great work here ! I really appreciate it
  10. Hmm this looks good. How good is the mounting system? I know Noctua has springs between the screws that pull the cooler down on to the cpu. Is this some possible danger like when moving the case to damage the cpu/motherboard? Cooling the overclocked Ryzen 3800x should not be a problem with this then ? In comparison between the Dark Rock 4 for example(which will be ~3€ more expensive for me since shipping cost is extra) which one "performs" better? Also do you think a 750W psu will be enough for overclocking the 3800x and a rtx 3060ti gpu? Or should I buy a 850W psu? Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
  11. Hey the ram that is going to be used is the patriot viper 4 blackout. The cooler should not be too expensive. 55€ give or take. It should cool the ryzen 7 3800x after it is overlocked. planned on using the 1usmus clocktuner for ryzen to overclock the cpu. The oc should be good but nothing overkill if this helps. Say the d15 from noctua would be great but expensive and this level of cooling is not sth that would fit the budget.(or is there a budget cooler with excellent cooling?) The noctua cooler are also quite quiet which is nice. So sth in budget with reasonable oc and "silent"ish noiselevel.
  12. Hey what cooler would be a good choice for ryzen 7 3800x if you are going to overclock it? I dont know many coolers Nh u 12s or Nh u14s? or a dark rock 4? the problem is also the 14s is just 1mm smaller than the max height of coolers for the case(Nr600). would it still fit or are those numbers not 100% correct? Would like to get a good recommendation for a cpu cooler.
  13. Hey, I am building a pc for a friend. The specs are: ram:patriot viper blackout 32gb cl16 3200mhz) ssd: samsung evo plus 1tb nvme case: coolermaster nr600 with odd bay for blu ray disc drive mb: msi b550 a pro (still cheap but good b550 mb) cpu:ryzen 7 3800x gpu: ZOTAC Gaming GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC Psu: corsair tx 750m if its enough for oc(some confirmation maybe?) Now the cpu cooler: Would be the NH u 12s enough or what cooler should I go with? The 3800x will be overclocked with 1usmus clocktuner for ryzen about which Linus did a video. Like would be a dark rock 4(non pro) enough? (would also appreciate some help regarding ram clearance for the dark rock 4) I dont know many good coolers. The nh u 14s would be the next I know, but the case has 166mm clearance and the 14s ist just 1mm short from max. Would this work? How reliable are those numbers? Thanks in advance for the help Update: Going to get a ARO-M14 based on @WoodenMarkers suggestion in the Cooler Tier List Thread.
  14. Hey, are there 3060ti or 3070 cards which one should avoid buying? Even if they are in stock? I am currently planning a pc for a friend. CPU will be the 3700x (will be overclocked on a MSI b550-a pro) since it is currently 200€ cheaper , or would be 150€ cheaper msrp since the 3700x is available in Germany for around 300€. Now to the gpu. It will be the 3060ti or the 3070, that is the plan. (for time being until the situation gets normal again a 970 must do the job ...) Also for a psu , how much power would I need? Anyway thanks for any information. ( specs: ram:patriot viper blackout 32gb cl16 3200mhz) ssd: samsung evo plus 1tb nvme cpu cooler: nh u12s(or the dark rock 4 (not pro) if it is not too big and blocks the ram slots) noctua claims the 12s is enough for best oc for 3700x on their website (would also appreciate some help regarding ram clearance ) case: coolermaster nr600 with odd bay for blu ray disc drive mb: msi b550 a pro (still cheap but good b550 mb) cpu: ryzen 7 3700x gpu: 3060ti/or 3070, for now gtx 970... )
  15. those are out of stock and will be so for over 31 days if the information given by the shops are correct

Now to the gpu. It will be the 3060ti or the 3070, that is the plan. (for time being until the situation gets normal again a 970 must do the job ...) But what psu would be required for this combo? A Corsair CX 750m or sth like a tx850m ? For psu I look for Corsair, Silverstone, CoolerMaster, EVGA, be quiet, Seasonic since you can trust those names. Bad timing is also, that the ceapest psu from this list would be the tx850m which is currently not in stock But anyway I would still appreciate any information regarding my question. ------- Update 11 December 2020: The setup changed. I just got an zotac 3060ti oc from spain and the cpu is now the ryzen 7 3800x. How much power do I need ? 17. Thanks for the quick answer!
  18. Hey, I just got one drive for my nas, that I plan to get during the next 2 weeks during sale somewhere. Now the package in which the drive arrived was not quite convincing , so I ran a crystaldiskmark benchmark. Can someone tell me if this is a normal result or does it show some errors? 19. Hello, this is just a "what if" question. It could happen that I get rtx2080 ti for real cheap(from a trustable source) and a friend of mine has an older pc: I7 4790 and still a gtx970. Now I wonder how the i7 and rtx 2080ti would perform together? Usecases would be gaming and reliable 3d rendering and art work(photoshop etc). I have already found the website https://pc-builds.com/calculator/, but I still want a comment with maybe real experience behind it. I appreciate all the answers I could get. After all its just "what if"
  20. thats interesting, thx for the info, can confirm it lets wait for the reviews coming in and check the performance difference between 3.0 and 4.0 and hope for the best( i dont want to have to change my mb if i would buy a rtx 3070 )
  21. Please look into Microsoft Powertoys. There is a function, Fancy Zones , for a way better window management available, where you can create custom zones per monitor to snap windows into. And maybe a longer pole mounted to the wall in some way would lift the lower monitor up for better user experience and less neck pain just saw the comment the 2nd time reading posts from Reboots and he already mentioned Powertoys.
  22. thats weird. my old asrock z97x Killer motherboard with onboard audio did it all on its own without me needing to change sth. Just had to activate a feature that "spread" the audio, and i got surround sound from my webbrowser. The ds is quite expensive here in germany. https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/531248-the-audio-boards-recommended-gear/ has the Dg linked/referenced in 5.1 soundcards. Have you used usb soundcards? or can you write sth about usb cards(bad or good)?
  23. i installed everything from msi directly. sad they only let you set equalizers via nahimic software and that cant achieve my "5channel stereo surround ", that i realy want . It would be realy stupid not to be able to listen youtube music on all my speakers in surround so i am searching for a proper soundcard so i must not use nahimic. currently i am using Equalizer APO software combined with the Peace project, but i have to change between setups as it wont play native 5.1 surround sound signals correctly. speakers are configured as 5.1 surround in windows as well. its just that nahimic is missing one feature.
  24. Hello, can someone recommend an external or if not at least a good internal soundcard? my msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac has a supposidly good sound card integrated but i cant use the default realtec software to configure my 5.1 surround sound. They force me to use nahimic software what dont let you choose a fake surround sound option(next sentence). Important to me is that i can listen to everything lets say my firefox browser playing music from youtube and the sound is played in a 5channel stereo setup if its not a native 5.1 sound stream. All those creative asus and other soundcards have some 1 star reviews on amazon that are stopping me from buying one. Please can anyone help me?
  25. [AUDIO WARNING, LOUD] Hello, just build a new pc with a red devi rx5700xt and got a problem. If windows turns off the display after the set duration for power saving matters, i get a corrupted signal via the hdmi port to my monitor. Only solution i found is to unplug and replug the hdmi cable. Second monitor connected via DP does not show any problems after wake up. Any one got an idea what is causing this problem? also after the last one, both displays stayed black even after disconnectiing both of them. but they came back after some time.... dont know whats going on. t_video5343898184852702560.mp4
