  1. Actually this happened before and the solution was reinstalling Windows. I was just hoping that there is any other way. Windows sucks when it comes to stability (long term).
  2. On my Win10 64bit Wifi does not work! It worked fine before but now it just doesnt. Sometimes I have to restart my laptop couple of times to get it to work but as soon as I put it into sleep or connect it to wired network it stops working again! I have verified and wifi adapter in my laptop is working fine so that is not an issue. I blame Windows for this! From this screenshot you can see that the adapter is hidden in device manager. Please help me. Thank you Oh my laptop is Asus G752VY.
  3. Im new to this M.2 SSD thing and I need help. This is the SSD: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/ssd960.html I will buy 500 GB EVO I have this motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-X99-UD5-WIFI-rev-10#ov Now. I think that it will work normally but Im not sure. Im also wondering how do this things heat up? Because if I buy a controller that goes into PCIe port (just like a GPU) then I can cool it with a fan or at least a heatsink. Thank you for your help! (If anyone has any info about power consumption between a M.2 SSD and HDD please share it with me. I have Asus G752VY and because the battery is non-removable and batt. life is sh*t... and I was thinking if it would help a little bit to replace the HDD with a M.2. Because the laptop still has one ssd space free. Laptop would be lighter, quieter and probably last few minutes longer.)
  4. Choose something from ASUS: I have this one since it came out and Im verry happy with it: Asus RT-AC66U Here is also one but it costs around 190$: RT-AC87U Also consider one from Synology: Synology RT1900ac Now here are some brands that are still growing and I can not tell you if they are OK or not but they could work as a perfect repeaters maybe: XiaoMi Router 3 (XiaoMi is one of the top brands in China. They are a very good company. They have on of the best phones on the market [XiaoMi Mi5]) There is also one range solution. If a router has 3 or more removable antennas you can buy a wire and wire them around the house. It will make a HUGE difference in signal range. Here is a cheap but good 5m wire for router: Link
  5. Do I need to set up any LAG (Link Agregation) on my switch or is it "Plug&Play" system? Because I already tried this and after bridging connections I do not have any acces to the internet (even my local devices [NAS, switch, router, printer,..])
  6. Hello! My motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-UD5 WIFI (rev. 1.0) LAN1: Intel I210 Gigabit Network Connection LAN2: Intel Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V I use Windows 10 64-bit Thank you for your help!
  7. I use Windows 10. Nics are Intel (basically what my motherboard has). 2 x Intel® GbE LAN chips (10/100/1000 Mbit) Link to my motherboard
  8. YES, for the best performance is recommended that you move your OS from SSHD to SSD. Here is a guide how to do this: Link (I hope this helps)
