Well I never really used this option at all I was always at 144hz, but I have since upgraded to a use 1080ti, and it works perfectly and have no issues with it, this is the only "real" issue I see with it.

Hello so in the nvidia control panel I get options to change hz, my monitor by default is gsync 144hz, but when I try to change the hz from the nvidia control panel to something lower like 120 or 100, no apply button will show up. I've tried switching the resolution and the apply button doesn't show up for that either. If I uncheck the ovveride game option or something like that, I get the apply button, so i switch the hz to 120 and I hit apply, it goes black screen and the option of 120hz goes back to being 144hz. Any help?

So a day or two ago my HTC 10 has started connecting and disconnecting to my WIFI. I have both a router and modem, and have 2.4 ghz and 5ghz. Happens on both networks. This isssue does not occur with other devices, wired or wireless, and does not happen on other networks besides mine. I am at a loss of ideas, I have no idea what I could be doing wrong for my phone to keep connecting and disconnecting.

I might have to go for a 2080 then, I didn't want to buy it because I won't use the ray tracing features and pay $100 more. Will keep an eye out for a 1080ti hybrid and see if I can find one under 270

So I am looking to grab a 1080ti but need it to be under 10.5 inches or 269mm but I don't know where I could find gpu at that specific length

Okay so I was removing the heatsink out of my ram sticks, and the second one was really hard, so I used all my force and opened it up. Unfortunately i think the thermal pad came off and is stuck on the heatsink. Is there anything I can do about this, or did I break it?

Should I upgrade from a msi z97 gaming 5 mobo that I bought a month or two ago or just buy ddr3 ram. I currently have 32 Gig but its blue and mismatched the rest of my build red/black. I would probably downgrade to 16 gb and save the rest for new gpu

for some reason the resolution changed, I just had to go on the control panel for nvidia and set it back to fullscreen and it went back to normal cheers

So I started up my PC today and noticed something odd. It seems like there is a screen behind my screen and it shows my screen but moved. You can see it towards the left of the screen it is like a thin line of my screen. It seems to be an exact line all going down from top to bottom but barely visible. I only noticed when I minimized my screen I noticed that thing VIDEO0134.mp4

Good to hear there would be no issue. That was my main concern, there seem to be no contanct at all between the case and the motherboard due to that 1 standoff so I will continue the installation. Cheers for the help!

So I just got my meshify c case and everything was going well until I tried installing the motherboard standoffs. It wasn't until I installed the motherboard I forgot to install the io board. So I get it install it, and then I notice the upper left standoff was missing. I find it and I try to tighten it and realize it just doesn't stay in like the rest. It falls at every push making the installation of the motherboard impossible. Any help? The little standoff works Ive tried it in other holes, its the hole in the case that doesn't work

So I've been seeing tons of 500GB SSD's for sale, but since I already have one I did not buy one. I just put my OS and some maybe 5 or so programs that I use everyday on it. The rest I put on my HDD, but my question is do people use more than one ssd on a build, and if so for what reason?

I've narrowed it down between Phanteks Eclipse P400S and the MEshify C. The phanteks eclipse would fit well in my red/black setup, but I use a radiator and it seems like the front of the case would not get that much air to intake as the Meshify C.My place gets very hot and I think the more air would help it cool off. Is there a variation of the MEshify C under $100 usd that has red accents or something?

What GPU do you think I should get for a reasonable upgrade? I see a lot of special for raid ssd's but besides my OS I don't store anything on my SSD

the silverstone rl06 looks really cool but would not match my red/black setup. Is there a case similar like that with red accents?

I have $100 USD to spend on a PC case but I am finding it hard to find one that I genuinely like, I like when the case has a front intake and possibly a rear and top exhaust but a lot of these cases are missing one of those, I might mention where I live it gets hot so during the summer I need to have it stay pretty low on temps. I think atx or maybe even mid atx is big enough

Does anybody know how to remove the back stand that holds the monitor up. I have a pb258q and I already removed the base but idk how to seperate the other piece If I remember correctly I inserted this fast and easy no need for screws or anything
