6700xt/3060ti is ~$100 more than a 2080 Edit: I'm dumb and apparently can't read numbers, it's only like $30 difference. I'm guessing zotac Vs gainward is tomato tomatoh?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU, and the only used ones in my price range is the Asus RTX 2080 Dual OC and the PNY RTX 2080 XLR8 OC Triple. Anybody who knows the pros/cons from either card or manufacturer? Any help is appreciated. 5700xt is also in the price range, but my understanding is that 2080 > 5700xt? edit: correct link for Pny

The difference i US$6, so yeah thanks

Would I experience a major difference between 3200MHz CL16, and 3600MHz CL18 on 3800X? Ram timings etc really confuse me, so sorry if this is a stupid question... Both kits would be G.Skill TridentZ Neo 2x8gb

But damn is the ML240L noisy...
-
Just installed it and and apart from the RGB function not working (I suspect i have a broken molex connector), everything works great. I've dropped about 10*C in CPU-Z stress test.

Thanks!

I don't expect it to be amazing, i just wanted something that performed on par with, or better than the H60. Which i hope this does?

I recently sold my Corsair Hydro H60 (the old 2013 model), and bought a Cooler Master Masterliquid ML240L RGB(waiting for it to arrive). Did i make a mistake? Running a 6600K at 4,8 GHz at 1,450V. Got about 78 max in CPU-Z stress test after about 45-60 min with the H60. Edit: I got the Ml240L for 501 DKK and sold my H60 for 280DKK and just wanted to know if the Ml240L would perform on par with or better than the H60.

Thank you! Haven't been able to find a 1TB SSD for under 170USd (1100DKK) here in denmark yet, but the 660p cost about 140USD!
-
Please, where do you find 1TB SSD for 100 USD?

Huawei Matebook D VLT-WX50 Charging Temp. Issue
O_Bedstew replied to O_Bedstew's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
i5-8250U but this only happens hwen charging? And would i do that and what effects would it have? -
Hi, everytime i plug in my charger my fan turns on, the temp goes from ~55C to 80-100C and package power goes from 5W to 15-27W. Does anybody know how/why? Is this normal? Intel Power Gadget log is attached if anybody wants to have a look, you can clearly see when i plug the charger in. PwrData_2019-1-11-20-41-16.xlsx

Nitro+ Vega64 (only one i could find in denmark with a quick search) costs 600USD (4000DKK) so yeah...
-
Thank you! Are we talking 1060TI/1070 etc?
-
So basically, some are saying GPU some are saying CPU...
-
The reason i have so many fans is that i just run them at lower RPM...
-
Why is that?
-
I literally only have room for one more fan in the top, and i dont thermal throttle with CPU at 4,8GHz and GPU at +500mHz (i think), can you maybe help me with an explanation for why BF1 at low/medium gets 50FPS tops with drops to 10FPS quite often... Good idea with the monitor though, will look into that. (got any recommendations?)
