  1. Can system instability come from anything else? I have been running stock speeds since clean install and still run into IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Edit: Just got a UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP
  2. System: Ryzen 3900X Asus Strix X570-E mobo Corsair Dominator RGB 4x16GB 3200MHz Nvidia RTX 2070 super I experience random blue screens when using my system. In the beginning when I first built it would go weeks between them so I didn't bother with it. It mostly did it when I was away from the computer, so I would come back to the lock screen and reopen my apps, which I just considered as a minor inconvenience. It bothered me more when it happened while playing games, and then started happening when just watching YouTube and doing everyday web browsing. I tried by updating drivers (clean install nvidia drivers) and reinstalling OS a couple of times. I still experience random blue screens without any knowledge of what is triggering it. The different stop codes I have recieved: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (most frequent) APC INDEX MISMATCH PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION Most answers on the internet seems to be to update drivers, which I have done, and the other is to reinstall OS, which I also have done. So now I'm here, thanks for all answers!

  4. I solved the problem! After some back and forth, playing around with absolutly everything I could think of, I found the solution which was to reinstall Windows and wipe all my drives. This is because there are still som traces left even if you uninstall the drivers, and you have to do it right the first time.
  5. I recently bought two Avermedia Live Gamer HD Lite cards as I could get two for the price of one non-lite card. I have tried to install it in my PC, but I can't update it's latest firmware and is only causing problems. I've installed the drivers and RECentral, but when I try to update firmware it cannot detect my card. I've tried somewhat everything the last 24 hours and can't find any solutions.
  6. Maybe it is designed to run at 50 degrees idle and maybe it is designed to run at 95 degrees under load. You may feel comfortable with those temps, but I don't. To be honest, I can't see why AMD would design a card to run at 50+ degrees at idle, also, a refrence R9 290 i've seen run 30 degrees idle.
  7. While everybody I talk to thinking it is an air flow issue, I think differently. That's because it idles 50 degrees (!).
  8. I opened the window under gaming load and the temps droped to 80 degrees. But again, still not happy with the temps. Edit: Idle temps were still the same
  9. Quick update: I switched the thermal paste and my temps went down to 84-85 degrees under gaming load. From 95 degrees that is a 10 degree improvement, but my idle temps are still at 50 degrees. And to be honest, 85 degrees is still over past my comfort zone.
  10. I got everything running 100% right now
  11. I have 2 fans blowing directly on to it atm and im still idleling at 42 degrees.
  12. I just said I have tested it with the side panels open with no different result.
  13. I have the Gigabyte Windforce one, and I have been troubleshooting the airflow of the case, and even ran it with the side panels open with no success.
