  1. So 10-12 days ago I posted regarding this matter, What happened was pc restarted everytime I played games on it. I thought it was a heating issue but it wasn't as some of the learned people of the community has pointed out and I am thankful to them. BUT!!!! then something else happened.. I disconnected the cpu, motherboard, gpu and hdd power cables and while the mobo was inside my case, and I connected an external PSU so that I can test whether it was actually my psu that had went bad. BUT PC DIDN'T EVEN TURN ON... but i connected my old psu again and it started working. Something that I couln't explain with logic. Or may be the logic is something I am not capable to understand. **checked 3-4 times, the connections are alright. I'd like some help in this matte. Still don't know what's going on with the pc. Thanks in advance. My PC: processor: Intel i3 6100 Ram: corsair vengeance 8GB ddr4 2400mhz GPU: sapphire r7 360 PSU: corsair VS550 CPU cooler: Cooler Master TX3 evo
  2. Already changed the Thermal Paste and therefore cpu temps are normal. Other then that I got an RX590 from a friend to test and I ran Heaven Unigine. Pc rebooted while loading. I guess its the PSU. And since I am broke AF. Still I gotta go for a budget PSU. So I was thinking of getting a thermaltake tr2 600w 80+ bronze psu. The OEM is ShenZhen UTPower Technology. I dont know anything about what sort of psu they make and is it any good.
  3. My PC specs: Processor: Intel i3 6100 Cpu Cooler: Cooler Master Tx3 evo Ram: corsair Vengeance 8 gigs 2400mhz Gpu: Sapphire R7 360 OC Psu: Corsair VS550 Built this as a budget gaming PC and so far it worked out for me. And it was some time in the middle of 2016. Its old now but didn't think this would happen. It keeps restarting every now and then while there's some load on the Processor. The temperature is also not that high while gaming but most of the times it restarts while I'm in a game. I usually play Fortnite or World of Warships. The titles says if it restarts because of the Heat but I logged my records of heat and load on core with cpu temp and last of the readings say my cpu load was 100% At this point I am not even sure whats happening. I just want to fix this stupid problem. And I am pretty sure my cpu cooler is very much and alright and also psu is running perfectly fine cause I have changed thermal paste and swapped psu with a lower powered one and still same thing. PLEASE!!! if someone could help me I'd be very very grateful. **ps: I have attached the last logged file. Please check for details. CT-Log 2019-09-20 05-07-26.csv
  4. I fixed it.. Installed windows 8.1.. May be the amd drivers for graphics weren't for windows 10. Now it works fine. Thanks everyone.
  5. This is the configuration i have Intel i3 6100 3.7ghz Msi z170-a pro motherboard Corsair 8gb ddr4 2400mhz ram Saphhire nitro r7 360 oc I overclocked my gpu through Crimson. The display went black instantly as i pressed apply and even after i reset, the gpu keeps overclocking but there is nothing in the monitor. Ow.. I have a Samsung 19 inch monitor. 1366x768 res 60hz. Pc booted as usual when i removed the gpu. I tried resetting the gpu driver but it didn't detect the hardware and was inaccessible. Someone give me solid solution please.
  6. How much voltage does 2 pin cable from 6+2 pin PCI Express power cable provide??? and if it is 12v then can I connect LED strips with it???
  7. I want this PC to be a multipurpose PC. I will be doing some video editing and as well as some gaming. But since I'm running low on cash I was forced to go towards a set up like this.. But I have chosen a few of these components so that I can upgrade them in the future. and yes I will overclock.. And few of you said to not go for a 16gig ram. I chose 2400Mhz. I dont want to change to 8 gig rather if I chose 1600Mhz would it be ok?
