ok so none of you root for me getting an SLI

Dear Pc Elitist, I find myself in a pickle here. from the title, you can guess it's concerning the HTC VIVE. First of all, I would like to reassure you that I have a PC capable of running VR. I have an MSI 1070 GAMING X and an I7-6700K which should be able to run VR easliy. And the problem isn't expenses because I have the money for the HTC VIVE, the problem is that I think its underdeveloped and would be a waste of money and I easily could instead buy another GPU and run SLI but I don't have a 4K monitor and that defeats the purpose. Also, I am pretty convinced that the HTC is better than oculus with touch cuz VIVE is supported by steam which just strikes a fatal blow to the Oculus. Anyways the time I intend to buy the VIVE is Feb 2018 so there is still a while for it to be developed but I want help choosing between saving up or getting SLI or getting the VIVE

okay thx but is 4k really worth it or should i not even be bothered?

yeah but once again i just bought this pc and i dont have all the money in the world i am in a tight spot

Hi, I recently i got this new beast pc but however i have a gtx 1070 with a 1080p monitor. mt friend but a 4k monitor for almost double the price but like 50 dollars less the what the double would be, anyways he said i kinda messed up cuz the gtx 1070 runs most games 4k and i am not able to use its full potential because i have a 1080p benq rl2455hm. he has the Samsung u28e590d. so what to do? did i mess up? should i buy another one in like 3 years? i need some help and ideas pls.

Hey I am buy a beast pc in the range of $2000. The build was 1,851.35 US Dollars ( including the gtx 1070) the last time I checked which was two months ago. Now in that build I am getting a 1070 and after some thinking I said what if I buy a 1080 afterwards ( like on my next bday or something) than I wouldn't be able to sli both 1070 and 1080, but if I buy the 1080 now I could get another one a year later and then sli them. so here where I live the gtx 1070 is $550 and the gtx 1080 is $871.22 so which one should I get? and also another small questions how often will I need to upgrade/get a new gpu if I want to run the newest games on atleast 1080p ultra or VH on 50-60 fps?

but is it worth the 105 dollar increase?

I don't have any of these yet and I am not running arma at 50fps but these are the parts I collected to make a new build

Hi, I am building a PC and I need a controller for (not so much) piloting jets and helicopters in Arma 3 And battlefield and a few more games. I need this controller to be available in the UAE ( United Arab Emirates) and also I need it to not be expensive. So what's the cheapest controller available that is compatible with most games on PC?
