  1. That worked! I was just dreading unscrewing everything and removing the cpu cooler but it worked in the end. Thank you.
  2. yeah the cpu and the motherboard. this is my first build so it may be something even more stupid
  3. The cpu cooler starts and then stops and thats it.
  4. So only the CPU and the MOBO are connected to the powersupply and there is still nothing.
  5. I did not. i7 6700k asus z170-a 212 Hyper Evo EVGA 650 GQ Gold Samsung 750 SSD G.Skill DDR4 16gb Phantom 410 case
  6. I am pretty sure I did everything right, but when I power on the pc (by hitting the button on the mobo) the cpu cooler fan starts and then nothing happens after that.
  7. Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could review/recommend good budget film editing builds? My friend asked me if I could make him one for under $800 but he said he would be willing to reach out to $900. This is what I have come up with so far. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/YcMWcc His main concern was if this would be capable of running Adobe Premier. I am aware that editing is more CPU intensive so is the GPU necessary? Or would more RAM be a better option? Any kind of help is greatly appreciated!
  8. That would be ideal but my room is above the router/modem and I don't know how I would get an ethernet cable down there.
  9. It's a dual band modem so we try to keep our less intense devices on the 2.4 ghz band and our laptops and such on the 5.
