  1. I own a kingston DTR3.0 G2 and I plugged it in to throw on some music for my car, 5 minutes ago it was working fine but now it just shows as "USB Drive (E:)" and it's got the transparency of a hidden windows item, disk management does not work, I cannot access it or format it. Any ideas? EDIT: And yes I've tried plugging it in to different computers
  2. Cheers mate, will look into it, lucky I found a retailer locally to buy it
  3. Ohhhh I get it now, thanks a lot buddy
  4. The problem is that my controller only has one RCA Master Out that's why I picked the RCA to 2 XLR
  5. I'm dead confused on how XLR and all those connectors work, I'm planning on buying a couple of Mackie Thump 15A loudspeakers and they have 2 XLR connectors on the back with the 1/4 jack, now if for example I grab one of these (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Male-XLR-to-2-x-RCA-Male-Phono-Plug-Lead-Cable-0-3m-1-5m-6m-Twin-Double/112604410309) and connect the RCA connectors to my controller, the other 2 XLRs, where do they go behind the speakers? There's some output XLR and some Input connectors, I'm dead confused so I'm asking for some help understanding better
  6. I own a Sony SRS-XB40 portable bluetooth speaker, I have connected some friends of mine who put their own music and we're all connected at the same time, is there a way to like, delete all the pairing info so I have to re-hold the pairing button and get each device I want to get connected when I want to and not whenever someone wants to connect he just connects? Sony actually has a feature where you hold the Volume "-" button with the power button for 5 seconds and that is supposed to delete pairing info, but the people who have previously connected to the speaker can still connect, what is this?
  7. Well I'm going to think about both since they're both fun and actually do the job well, each one has it's advantages and disadvantages
  8. To be honest with you, I've also thought about going vinyl, it always made me say "Wow that's awesome" will look into it since I've heard it's more professional and fun that way
  9. You've just filled the gap between my "What to choose" section, cheers mate, hope you have a great day, your reply is full of all details I need.
  10. Wow I didn't actually ever think about those kind of ways getting something WAY cheaper, thanks for the heads up, will look into it.
  11. Thanks a lot for the response, I will start saving it up the way you told me, I'm already doing some of the things you mentioned and some I know learnt from, didn't really expect to get good responses, just those "just sell your stuff" and all that ignorant stuff, thanks a lot again, hope I get em soon.
  12. Yes I do earn money from the parties I play at, these decks and mixer will not only get me more money, but will also allow me to play in clubs and large parties also, if luck is with me.
  13. So basically I want to get into DJing professionally, I do own a controller right now which gets me through small parties but I want to move on to standalone hardware (Mixer, Decks), the thing is how to save up money to get them? They're kinda pricy since this is my hardware of choice: Pioneer CDJ-2000 (2 of them) -> 2159 Euros where I am Pioneer DJM-900 -> 2159 Euros where I am Yes I know the mixer is 4-channel compatible and I only have 2 decks, will upgrade to 4 decks while years pass. Odd question which I don't really have the answer, yes I acknowledge it's a lot of money, I know I may need years to collect them all and yes I do know I may need to pay bills or just basic everyday stuff, the thing is can I somehow to some kind of shortcut and save up money faster? Selling stuff? Multiple jobs?
  14. No lyrics for bass and all dat, I'm all about that pure bass <3

    Opinions?

My budget for speakers is at the 500ish range and that's for both speakers, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00KA3P2SC https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GAMX12G If anyone recommends anything better just post it in the replies, I'm asking some things about the 2 speakers I posted like: -Wattage -Is is good for parties -Do I need an amp? I currently have some 1000 Watt ones but they're powered off a car stereo seems to work pretty well but I need more portability and these things are not good at it
  16. Sorry for the really late answer, if it's the amp then do any of you know what I can swap this out with to prevent the damn distortion?
  17. As the title says, I need some help here from someone who knows, what are my options? Speakers: 4x220W Alpine Type-E Stereo: Pionner DEH-3150UB
  18. The main subject of me posting this is finding someone who knows how to wire this together, not buy one, if I wanted to buy one in the first place I wouldn't be posting this:/
  19. That's what I'm trynna get out of this AUX and RCA cable, they're both stripped off but dunno how to connect them properly
  20. Don't wanna do that for now tho:/
  21. I've watched a couple of videos online on how to make an RCA to AUX cable but all of them use different AUX cables with different wire colors and it gets me confused so I give up almost instantly since I can't figure out what is what. To start of, I cut one side of my AUX cable and stripped the wire, there's 3 wires inside, a red, gold kinda and a blue, I did the same with my RCA cable and the wires inside are a red and white with some more cable inside them, it's like plastic around the cable itself, also there's more copper wiring around the plastic of the main wires (check pic). How can I make this work without destroying anything?
