  1. And now for the hardest part - convincing myself that others know better.
  2. Wouldn't the decreased cache size and turbo clock cause some decrease in performance?
  3. Only reason I didn't choose it was that it was more expensive and I'm not exactly sure that I could use all the provided cores.
  4. I currently don't have these parts. And yes, I'm looking for something that could do 3d rendering and deal with editing of huge images. And another thing is that I'd be happy if I could get this and just not worry about it for a good while.
  5. I knew that I'd be roasted for this... Currently yes, because in solidworks it is doable and the only way I can do it on is the laptop. In the final system I, at the very least, would be ripping out a 1070 from a system where it isn't being used.
  6. The system would be used for 3d modelling, rendering and operations with huge (as in 60kX60k px) images, along with some light gaming and other more general usage. The parts list: https://pangoly.com/en/build/share/2023/4/21/custom/54a3e172-83cb-435b-9636-5ec429f6f150 But all other parts I can choose on my own - it's just that I don't have enough knowledge on the combability and sensibility of these central ones... I'm currently working on a laptop: But it just doesn't seem to be able to cut it, as operations often take hours, which makes me wait on it without being able to do much else...
  7. I get that, but I just can't seem to be able to find the right place for displays, even though on a different device it was right there. I went through advanced display settings > Display adapter properties > Colour management. When the display is changed to another one, or just unplugged and plugged back in, the color management display a warning, that the device list has changed, but, when I look through the list again, there is no change.
  8. So.. I wanted to try out setting the display a new downloaded ICC profile, but when I open the color management tab in windows 10, there isn't an option to choose a display device, only different printers and scanners, which seems really odd. The rest of the system works fine and recognizes the graphics card and the display connected through it. When connecting a different display, the problem persists. Relevant system specs: OS: windows 10 home processor: i5-10500 motherboard: B460M DS3H V2 graphics card: gtx 550ti display: SD24D330 connected via HDMI Could this be a problem connected to the graphics card I have, or something completely different?
  9. Well, dang.. I hadn't caught the fact, that the PC had restarted just before the event. Oh well.
  10. Probably should have mentioned that part before.. Anyways, I'm just going to order the T2 for a quick fix and then maybe order the two others sometime later, because, once again, they're not really available at my fingertips, but they seem to be somewhat reachable.
  11. Hmm, it does look rather nice, but due the fact that I live in eastern Europe, I can't really find a pair for a reasonable price, unless I'm willing to buy off of ebay.de, which, even in that case, would be quite overpriced
  12. Welp, I'm always slowly folding on my 1070 anyway, so might as well join..
  13. I had a pair of KZ ZS10 pro IEMs that I liked, but they were starting to break down AND I managed to loose them somewhere. So now I'm looking for something similar, that isn't too expensive, because they'll be used while working around machinery and I'm just generally unable to guarantee their survival for too long. Wireless buds would seem to fit the bill, but they never sound right to me.. So now I'm thinking, that I should try out the Tin T2 because they seem to have solid reviews and aren't too expensive, but there might be some other IEM gems that came out during the last year and a half, that I have missed, so any help or advice would be appreciated.
