My current spec: i5 8400 stock cooler 2x8GB RAM 2400MHz GTX 1060 3GB 1x SSD 1x 7.2k HDD 3x 120mm case fan My current PSU are XCP-A500 Plan to upgrade from 1060 3G to either 1070ti or 2070, can my PSU handle this? Since I have tight budget, if upgrading PSU I does not have extra money to upgrade graphic card. If unable to handle, which PSU I should get?

Right now I can only afford a 8GB stick, but how to configure in order to have flex mode? By adding 8GB to slot 1 and 4GB in slot 2? or in reverse? Does flex mode is a bad idea? I mean does it not recommend to do this?
