    Yea i am not waiting on Zen.. only intel and nvidia for me . I could wait like i said for even newer generations on the intel side..

    Thanks, yes i thought all the generations i 'missed' could have a decent impact to the performance. I guess i will wait for maybe 8 cores to become the standard (instead of 6 six cores) and then bite..

    I am considering upgrading to an i7-6800k from an i7-980x (one of the highest end first gen i7's). My set up is currently as follows: i7-980x (six core @ 3.75) 24gb ddr3 (max i can have in this setup, and yes i use it all) Gtx 1080sc So my question is it worth it (other then the bigger memory possibilities) for gaming and productivity*, am i already possibly bottlenecking my gpu and should i wait on a even newer generation?? Thx * 3d-2d animation, rendering etc.
