  1. Aww, I was somewhat hoping this would be a 1C1S type program that we can get in a queue. I can defiantly prove I'm a gamer via the computer and my steam profile and YouTube channels I'm part of. Would love to have a chance to get a card if that ever happens again.
  2. Just as a follow-up to my post, I got my LTT shirt in the mail today. If anyone else is wondering about this just be patient and it should ship eventually :P
  3. Well, I have issues with my order in the states and I already tried the web site contact as well as main twitter and replying to the email that was from the order. I know I"m not as far dated as some people but it seems there are no updates. I also got no reply from any contact method I had. I'm giving my order till the end of the week before I try to reach out to them again myself. Apparently (according to someone else) this is a known issue to them. Not sure why they aren't responding though.
  4. Thank you, I guess an update on their site of the issue would have been nice. I will just cross my fingers that the order is still on the way. I just realized I missed last Friday's WAN show cause I was backed up on work. I guess I got to go back and watch that today lol.
  5. Well, here are some thoughts. I use Swann for my CCTV. While they have very limited cloud options, it does have a hard drive and the ability to stream remotely using your personal internet connection. Problem with cloud streaming fo some would be bandwidth. You would constantly be uploading x amount of feed through your internet and might cause a latency issue if you have a slow upload speed for everything else in the house. A few things about this company and their products: • SwannDVR supports UPnP or you can manually set up port forwarding to allow the ports needed to view remotely. • While I do believe they have wireless, I have learned to trust wired connections on this sort of thing. • Motion and schedules or always recording are options you have with any Swann DVR. For the odd reason you don't want to record during a time, you can simply turn the schedule to not record during that time. Option 2 is to just delete the footage from the DVR after it's recorded. • Wireless might post another problem with distance. If you only have 1 router and you have a large house, you will likely have communication issues if hooking up a lot of cameras on a fringe area of your network.
  6. Can't really hear much in that sound clip, maybe you can describe what you're hearing and any symptoms or problems you're having as a result.
  7. Hey folks, I recently purchased a shirt from the LTT store and was given a tracking number for a shirt I purchased last Friday (6 days ago). I reside in the US and I didn't expect shipping to be super quick. I click the link and it takes me to canadapost and says they find no item associated with the number. I have tried every way I know to reach out to Linus Media but I have got no response via email, twitter, facebook, or web site form email or replying to the number that sent me a SMS of my text order. I just want to make sure my order wasn't lost in limbo somewhere. I am unsure how long to expect it to ship to me here in the states, or how long it would before the sender (Linus Media) to ship the product. If anyone has a more direct contact with a person in the company that I can reach out to figure out something on the order status, I would be very appreciative. If anyone has info please dm me on this account, or reach out to me on facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/kelly.clubb or twitter @kmclubb. Thank you for any help.
  8. So I started folding officially yesterday and got some points in when I woke up today. Where can I track this for the current rankings or is there only someone randomly posting results in here. CPU: Ryzan 7 1700 GPU: EVGA Nvidia 1060 6GB Ram Since my system is air cooled I had to cut my cpus to prevent them from getting too hot.
  9. This really breaks my heart to see how Apple has changed since the days I used to work for them and they would bend over backwards to help people. I think when Steve Jobs leave of the company (RIP), the company has done a near 180 in their mindset and thus their lack of support.
  10. ESXI sadly wouldn't work for the scenario the op asked about because it runs VMs on it. I love ESXI though. It's one of the best VM based OS I've come across and is easy to setup. While they won't support my CPU much longer for updated versions my dual 4 core Optitron CPU & full array of SAS drives allow my rack servers to host many VM. You just can't run windows on top of it sadly. If op had a 2nd computer to console or remote into the said computers it would work that way but not cover multiple monitor setups like I use.
  11. is it just 1 device having the problem or you have multiple devices that have the issue? Do you have more than 1 device to test it with? Are you attempting to connect to the 2.4 GHz network or the 5 GHz network? If single device and you have no other devices to test it with then maybe you can have a friend bring a wifi capable device over and compare.
  12. Materials around your router make a lot of difference too. Don't leave near glass, and away from metal as well, 2 items that are bad and blocking signal. Also what are your walls made of? If it's plaster vs drywall then is going to block a lot more of your signal.
