  5. So, getting a lower fps doesn't necessarily mean there is a bottleneck. This is what I wanted to learn by starting this topic. But if we compare it to i7 6700, there is a bottleneck in theory, right? I mean we get lower fps by using an i5. Maybe its weaker architecture causes a bottleneck.

  7. Hi, I have a question about bottleneck and I couldn't find an answer to that. There are some gameplay videos on Youtube which shows the performance of a very powerful card along with 2 powerful CPUs. Let's say the components are GTX1070, i5 6500 and i7 6700 and the game is GTA 5 which is considered as a cpu intensive game. GTX1070 + i5 6500 gets around 70 fps and the cpu load doesn't hit 100% and gpu load stays at 100%. Then there is the second situation where they use GTX1070 + i7 6700. The cpu load doesn't hit 100% again but the fps is actually higher. Can we say that there is a bottleneck here? Cpu load on i5 is generally higher. Is it the cause of this situation? I assume cpu load should be close or equal to 100% to talk about a bottleneck situation. Thanks in advance and sorry for my English.
