  1. Dear friends After some tweaking I ended up with the following list! I was however wondering if it might be smarter to wait a short while due to black friday coming up soon? Do you reckon it would be worth waiting a little while or would discounts be limited for the parts I’m looking for? Thanks to all! 2. I cant seem to find this CPU cooler, could you double check which model you mean exactly? I'm looking at some videos of the Fractal Pop case right now. Planning to order all the parts tomorrow
  3. Thats great to hear, its exactly what I was looking for at this moment. Thank you for all the information! I think I’ll go with the parts from this list below and try to find a decent small case to go along with it! Also try and score some of the parts on the used market if possible.
  4. A big thank you to everyone so far who has sent me a pcpartpicker list! I'm carefully going through each one! The 600 euro is definitely not a hardcap, as mentioned in my original post i'm no longer very up to date with current prices so there is quite some wiggle room. Price to performance is however an important factor in my decision! I'm also looking to replace my case to a much smaller one so it nicely fits next to my LG C1 in my dorm room and is more easily transportable between my university city and my hometown. I indeed still have some M.2 sticks lying around in my drawers somewhere Very interesting suggestion with the 5 7600 and the DDR5, I am however wondering how futureproof this CPU is? Bonne journée à toi aussi! Thank you for the case suggestion and very interesting suggestions, I'm not sure yet if i want to still invest in DDR4 memory though. Maybe some more information I'd like to add: I love money-to-performance, very important factor for me I also still need a new case but I wouldn't mind looking at used parts! Baseline performance I want to outperform the current gen consoles with potential GPU upgradeability since the 3060Ti might not be up to the task of running my C1 to its fullest. I did however think this GPU is already on par and slightly above Series X and PS5 if i'm not mistaken? EDIT: If the budget goes up to 800 but bang for the buck is way more optimized than in my interests This is the way! Thank you all for the great help thus far
  5. Budget (including currency): 600 EUR Country: Belgium Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Red Dead Redemption 2, Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, PCSX2 & other emulators Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Display: LG C1 OLED GPU: RTX 3060Ti PSU: Cooler Master V750 Gold Dear members of the LTT forums, it has been quite a while since I was active in the PC gaming landscape and I’m looking to give my PC a proper upgrade. I’ve been running an i7 3770K for a decade now, paired with 16gb of DDR3 RAM. I had bought a 3060Ti to allow for some more headspace on the graphics department but the CPU is just too lacking for modern titles. I’m looking to upgrade CPU, RAM, MOBO to something which will pair nicely with the parts I’m keeping mentioned above. Furthermore I’m looking for an as small as possible case because I would like to use this PC as an alternative to buying a Series X or PS5. I would be hooking this PC up to my LG C1 oled which has support for VRR & goes up to 4k@144Hz. One of the reqs for the MOBO is a good WiFi & Bluetooth module since I’ll be mostly pairing one or more controllers to it. I’d love to have a proper HDR & Highres playthrough with this PC of the following games: RDR2, Starfield, CP2077, Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart, God of War, Mortal Kombat 1, … I’m open to any suggestions how to approach this and have a budget of give or take 600 EUR. To be honest though I’ve been out of the loop for quite a while now and struggling to get back into it so I have no clue how feasible my budget is. Thanks in advance for all the feedback! Cheers from Belgium
  6. Yeah i'm expecting a huge performance increase with that 5nm architecture right?
  7. So time for an update. I installed the RTX 3060Ti, put it on Ray Tracing Ultra and got bad performance (1080p). Anyway after some fiddling around I ran the game on my 4K screen and when putting it on Ultra (no RT) and DLSS on auto I hover around 40-60fps with occasional dips to 30fps. It's not perfect and definitely when driving around it goes down to 30-40fps however in certain combat situations it hovers around 55-62fps which is definitely reasonable. I think i'll have to update to an 5600x anyway but i'm unsure whether to buy it now or wait for next year's 5nm Ryzen chips
  8. I'll give an update tomorrow . Still have to find a CPU cooler though, hopefully i should be able to get my hands on a Noctua NH-U14S tomorrow to OC the 3770k. Was still using the standard cooler
  9. Thanks for your opinions and insights into the matter. For now i'll try to OC the i7 3770K and see what will happen performance wise. The GPU should be arriving tomorrow
  10. Don't have much experience in overclocking but would a Noctua NH-D15 do the job? And how much Ghz should i be aiming for?
  11. So maybe it would be better just for now to get a decent watercooling system for i7 then getting an entire mobo cpu & ram upgrade?
  12. Hmm that's indeed bad performance. I've got around 30fps with my current setup. Honestly I just want to enjoy the game at high graphics settings and at around 60fps but i usually don't game that much anymore. In the mean time i've been looking into getting an upgrade to a 5600x, new mobo, new ram however wouldn't that be a bit overkill to just play one game?
  13. I'm currently playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p however i've got a 4K monitor aswell that i didn't use since the 970 doesn't handle 4K that well. My target fps would be 60 in Cyberpunk at 1080p or 1440p.
  14. How extreme will the bottleneck be? i've currently got a i7 3770k with 16GB DDR3 and i've just been able to buy a RTX 3060Ti FE
  15. So I'd assume I'll have to look at the used market to get my hands on one of these? Another laptop I was interested in was the Asus Zenbook 14 UX434, any thoughts on this device?
