I'm new here and really need some help or advice about whether I should buy a macbook pro or not.
Ok, so the situation is this: I have an acer touchscreen 11.8' laptop (the battery is decent, light-weighted, great for lecture, but it's a window 8). I really want a MacBook pro but everyone is telling me that it's a useless to have two laptop.
The reason why I wanted a MacBook is it's 13' (so easier for studying), bigger harddrive (more capacity for memory storage), and durable (my brother used his for almost 4 years). I used to have a Sony, but the screen crack and it's too expensive to get it fix...so my mom got me an acer in the meantime, but I had always wanted to try a MacBook. Also, another reason is I heard the MacBook allows me to record lecture in PowerPoint according to each slide, while I can take notes on the side. The acer can only let me record the lecture in PowerPoint, but I cannot take note alongside with the slide. Also, is there anything that let me either turn a PDF file to PowerPoint or allow me to take note directly on it? One of my teacher only use PDF file
Is it really bad to have two laptops? Please let me know your reason for either answer and thank you for your advice.
