yes it was thats the largest monitor i can fit in the spot i have pc and I prefer 24" anyway its big enough

The general clarity is amazing when doing everything from web browsing to editing photos. I can edit at closer to 1:1 ratios with more of the photo available at one time and have more room for applications. then in gaming there are no jaggies anywhere and it looks amazing.

You made a good purchase then the monitor looks fantasic and I have been very happy with it all. its been awesome great upgrade

Sorted the issue. For some reason with DP1.2 turned on it does what it did but then when I turn it off it works fine and its 60hz cause its only 1080p so its just a little effort to change but all is good. Thanks for the help.

Tried this too and then windows only runs in a windowed 1080p with the rest of the screen black. Ill try take a photo and upload when I have time, if i cant fix it.

I have done this and I thought this would work fine but it doesnt the pixels go 1:1, makes no sense to me.

It stays in full screen mode but the surrounding screen goes black. So It is kind of like a windowed 1080p screen in a full screen window if that makes sense

Hi, I want to play some games at 1080p on my 4k monitor so I can get stable 60fps. When I change this in game settings the game becomes small and the pixels are 1:1 if that makes sense. I want to play at full screen but only at 1080p, is this possible and if so how.

I dont know where you are getting your information from but im pretty sure you can't use it as a display.

It is perfect the icons are the same size and text is same size as it was on 1080p you can change it all if you want. I am on windows 8.2 though

Using my old monitor (which is now on my mums computer) was so much worse. I swear 2 days ago it never looked that bad, but this is just great the text in general web browsing and everything.

So after much delays I finally got my 24" 4K Dell monitor yesterday and it's amazing. Anyone on the verge of weather to go 4K or not DO IT!! I upgraded my GPU to a GTX980 so it could handle 4K and it handles it great for what I play, but I will SLI in future. Just for general use though 4K is awesome there have been times where I just need to stop and admire a graphic or little details in a photo that look so crisp and nice in 4K (it might also have something to do with being IPS). I went from a 120hz alienware 1080p monitor which I still have and the change has been amazing, highly recommend the upgrade.
