  1. Depends on what you're using it for during the silent mode. Fan will still spin if you do heavy loads, even on silent. Without the fans it'll just shut itself down If you're only doing office work / browsing the web, it should be silent.
  2. Yea, for some reason that also happens to be my case, but only for the first run, so i always run cinebench twice. The 2nd run it turbo boosts from the beginning.
  3. 305 isn't even the latest BIOS, it's old. 303 is one of the first releases of the BIOS. It's currently on like 312-315 if I'm not wrong
  4. Hey guys, I finally made a video on the laptop. My experiences and what i do to fix it. Check it out ! Hope it helps.
  5. Check if you have ASUS Keyboard hotkeys disabled in your startup in task manager. If it's disabled, it won't show popups when u click the hotkeys. If it still doesn't work, try reinstalling the hotkeys driver. It's on the ASUS' drivers website.
  6. How??? Mine gets to 45W TDP and it only reaches 91 celsius max, after long stress tests. I got around 1100 cb in cinebench
  7. Try updating the drivers, bios, and windows before u start undervolting and tweaking. It should be fixed by now.
  8. It shouldn't thermal throttle after u update the drivers and bios (and also windows maybe) find the drivers here : https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ASUS-TUF-Gaming-FX504/HelpDesk_Download/
  9. Nah, my cpu goes above 25W when playing games. Also, I never experienced any battery drain from playing games.
  10. I don't think so. Mine runs at 45 W TDP. Programs ilke XTU, HWmonitor, Aida64 for some limits it to 25 W TDP. Use ThrottleStop, cpu gets to 45W. basically don't open anything that monitors the cpu besides Throttlestop. As far as i know, only throttlestop that doesn't limit the TDP.
  11. Damn, you're lucky. Wat? mine has almost 180 degrees viewing angle. Looks clear at any angle. Don't have the problems in mine. Try updating drivers (?)
  12. Its because when its silent, it is throttling the whole time. making it run at low performance constantly, but when you're not using the silent mode, it is only throttling for some time, and that's what makes the fps not stable.
  13. LOL, Motherboard VR is voltage regulator module, it controls the volt that will be delivered to the cpu.
  14. Nope, never had VR thermal throttling. Are u using the silent fan profile, cause if u are, u might be experiencing it since there's not enough air hitting the vrms (just my theory)
