I have a Asus GTX970 Strix and it has been running well for the last year and a half or so but for the last month or so the Nvidia driver will sometimes crash and then all screens will go black, sometimes it will recover and other times it will crash my PC. I have checked Event logs and can see that the last thing that failed was the Nvidia display driver. I have tried clean installs of the drivers and rolling back to older drivers but nothing has made a difference.
In an attempt to figure it out i tested the PSU to see if it was maybe dropping voltage but all the pins are outputting at 12.6V ( what it should be.)
the only thing that i can think of is that the power fault is in the GPU but cant think of a way to test it at all.
Is there any way that you may know if to work this out or to test anything more?
Any help would be good as this is really annoying.
